THIRTY TWO

Hyejin P.O.V

“hey Jenny, I saw Wonwoo talking with you.” I said while smirking at her. Her face suddenly turns red and she hit my shoulder.

“it was nothing. I mean… he just return my keychain that I dropped it yesterday. That’s all.” She said stuttered. I really want to laugh but I just hold it while I can. She look so cute like that.

“hey Hyejin! Let’s go home!” Mingyu yelled from outside the class. Jenny and I quickly exited the class and walks together with Mingyu.

“hey! Wait for me!” someone yelled from behind. We all turn around and it was Wonwoo. What a right timing! I quickly looked at Jenny that already turn shyest. Then, we all walk together.

“urrgh! 1 week left~” Mingyu mumbled.

“yeah. And we don’t prepare anything yet.” Wonwoo said to Mingyu. Both of them sigh heavily while I just looked at them with no emotion. Mingyu hold my hand and suddenly both of us stop walking.

“what now?” I said to him.

“can you help me?” he said. He walks to behind me and whisper something.

“let’s run and let them walks together.” He whispered. I suddenly smile widely that makes Jenny confused looking at me. Mingyu hold my wrist then we start running. I can hear Jenny shout my name but I’m sorry Jenny.

Jenny P.O.V

Wait?! Why Mingyu and Hyejin running? Why they left me behind with Wonwoo beside me? What I gonna do right now?!

“what is wrong with them?” Wonwoo asked me. I looked at him and he looks at me back. I quickly turn my face not to look at him.

“I-I don’t know.” I said. Damn! My heart beats faster again. I feel like wanna faint right now.

“oh well, let’s walk together. Where’s your house? I can send you home if you want.” He said then give me his bright smile. Oh my gosh! His smile really kills me.

“it’s okay… I-I can…”

“oh? I gonna go right now. I have work to do. See ya Jenny.” He said then walks away. I just stood there and see him running. Geez. I hope we can talk more again Wonwoo.

Mingyu P.O.V

Hyejin and I stopped at the park. We taking a deep breathe because running to fast.

“phew! I wonder what will happen both of them.” Hyejin said. She then bring me seat at the bench beside the lake. She took a handkerchief from her beg and wipe her sweat.

“how about you wipe my sweat too, pumpkin?” I said then she looked at me with her annoyed face.

“urrgh. Come closer.” She said. I sit beside her very closed and suddenly she grabs my hair and pulled.

yah! That hurt!” I screamed and she just laughing at me. She then slowly wipes my sweat using her handkerchief.

“done.” She said then pushes my head. I release a heavy sigh at her. Suddenly, I saw Minah walking alone at the park.

“is that Minah?” Hyejin suddenly asked me. I looked at her and look at Minah again. I can see Minah’s face is not so cheerful.

“I think so.” I said. Hyejin hold my shoulder and looked at me.

“it is her. Go talk to her.” She said.

“but…”

“but what? Pfft! Don’t tell me you feel nervous again?” she said then hit my shoulder. I am nervous because it’s Minah but I’m feel that I don’t want to leave you alone.

“idiot! Why you looking at me like that?” she said then slowly slapped my face. I quickly grab her hand and put on my face. Seriously, why I’m doing that?

“can I?” I asked. Her face turn confused when I asked her like that.

“huh? Why you asked me like that? Just go already. I can’t stop you anyway.” She said while smiling at me. I then slowly release her hand and stood up from the bench.

“what are you waiting for? this is your chance anyway.” She said. Then I walk away from her and leave her sitting at the bench alone.
I walked and keep searching for Minah. Then, I saw her sitting side of the lake.

“hey Minah. What are you doing here?” I quickly asked her that make her shocked looking at me.

“Mingyu? What are you doing here?” she asked. I looked at her face. She looks so pale. Is she sick?

“are you sick? You look so pale.” I said with worried face. She then put her hand on her face.

“really? Don’t worry about me. I’m fine.” She said with weak smile. I sit beside her and she keep looking at the lake. It’s kinda awkward because we just sit like this and not talking each other. I don’t know what to ask her.

“hey Mingyu, do you still remember of our childhood?” she start the conversation.

“about what?” I asked her. I still remember all of our childhood time.

“when you, me and Jenny running around the lake then suddenly Jenny fell down. It was funny that time.” She said with small laugh.

“oh yeah. That was funny. I still remember Jenny’s face that time. Seriously it was funny.” I said while laughing too. We keep talking about our childhood time and I feel happy when looking Minah smiling and laughing again.

Hyejin P.O.V

I just watch them from far distance. I can see Minah is smiling again. That makes me feel happy because seeing Minah happy again but in the same time it’s kinda hurt. I feel hurt when Mingyu left me alone here. I feel like I want to reach his hand and stopped him but I can’t do that. I’m nothing for him.

‘no way Mingyu gonna likes me. he likes Minah anyway. Please stop this feeling to him Hyejin!’

All I can do is smiling while looking at them until I didn’t realize my cheeks already wet by my tears.
