Little bit of a short chapter

My hearing was back and it was like Heaven. I was finally able to interact with the world. I held my baby Luc(pronounced like Luke)and smiled at his face. He was an exact replica of his father. I brushed my fingertips across his soft cheeks, tinted pink. I kissed his forehead and he made the cutest sound. After being fed he was very tired and that was good, making the ride home easier. We had already prepped the nursery for his arrival and according to Vincent, the pack was eager to see their newborn Alpha. 

The ride home was...something special. All our pack members lined the road with signs of congratulations to us and a hope to see our son through the car window. I waved and smiled at them. They were so sweet. I looked over at Vincent who was driving and grinning. I glanced back at Lucian who had his eyes shut and was still fast asleep. Upon reaching the pack house there was no telling how many people would've been there if it wasn't just family allowed. Royalty was the first to greet us and following close behind, Maximus. While Vincent was busy unlatching the carseat, I was embraced by his parents.

"Our first grandpup, Max, look at him! He looks exactly like Vinny when he was a baby!"

"I told you never to call me that, mother," Vincent said with a sleeping Luc.

"You can decided on a name?" Maximus asked.

"Lucian," Vincent answered. "Luc for short."

"That is a perfect name for an Alpha,"Royalty gushed while looking at Luc.

"It's a little chilly out here. I don't want him to be out in this cold," I said, walking towards the door with Vincent close behind. 

As I stepped into the house I couldn't wait for all the adventures that Lucian would bring.
