"I spend a lot of time and effort making this you better eat it," in another attempt, the man shoved the metal spoon in the direction of his smaller companion, finally succeeding in his quest for him to eat the soup he had worked so hard on.

"All you did was put it in a microwave for 2 minutes you liar," the blonde man retorted, sticking his red tongue out at his friend, "you didn't even open the can!"

"Eat the damn soup!" After being told for the 50th time the younger man finished his 'meal' and sat back in his bean bag, "what bright idea do you have now then? We could hunt, try fixing the radio or y'know just hide here for another few years. The choice is yours." Sarcasm was clear in his tone as his vibrant eyes stared at the older male. "Connor I swear all you do is complain!" he growled, pulling over a chair with a loud screech and sitting with the back of it against his chest. "Well Linc, you aren't the most tolerant guy either."

Waving a hand dismissively, Lincoln turned to sit properly in the chair and stared down at various sheets of scattered paper. Some covered in scribbles and symbols that no untrained person could decipher, others were maps dotted with red thumb tacks, marking mainly cities but dismissing remote towns and villages.

Shuffling himself and his seat towards a small white compartment, the smaller male pulled back a door before grabbing a pouch labeled 'capri-sun,' he gripped it in his teeth as he slammed the small door and pierced the pouch with the straw before taking a few sips as he waddled over to the table, peering over Lincoln's shoulder, "watcha doin'?" In a sharp reflex, the man slammed his hands over the pages, scrambling to put them back into a large red and yellow folder, "none of your business you little monster, go drink your capri-soon somewhere else."
"Capri-sun" Connor corrected, striding over to a window. Dark branches thrashed at the scratched glass, further damaging it as the strong winds threw leaves across the sky.
He had always loved the cold, a few cracks in the window allowed him to feel the sharp air on his face, turning his nose red and causing his eyes to water. He wasn't allowed outside without Lincoln with him and therefore couldn't fully enjoy the freezing temperatures of a forest in the winter. He didn't understand that it was for his own safety, all he knew was that his mean adopted brother wouldnt allow him to enjoy what he wanted most.

/Hiya! This first chapter took me a day to write due to my procrastination skills. Ive been planning this for a long time and finally got motivated enough to do it. I hope this chapter is up to everyone's standards. Cya!\
