Chapter 16.

Kendall's POV

"So where are your parents?" Cara asked after she put her cutlery down onto her empty plate.

It's just past 14:00 having our brunch. Remember when I asked to stay in bed with Cara for another five minutes?

Yeah that lasted more than 30 minutes. But when you're in a situation like that with Cara Delevingne, you never want to leave.

"My parents are working and Kylie's at school," I answered while I muffled the last piece of pancake in my mouth.

"Aren't you supposed to be at school though?" Cara questioned, "No I'm suspended."

Cara's eyes widened and her eyebrows lifted, "What!" She laughed, "I'm kidding! Chill.. no uhm school ended a few days ago actually, I mean it's the end of the year," I chuckled.

"Oh shit.. you're right.. I forgot to fetch my report card," Cara worriedly answered.

"Don't they mail it to your house?" I asked, "They do but I chose to fetch it myself since I don't want my parents seeing it first."

"Understandable," I answered, "Wait I'm so confused.. I got here what 3 days ago?" "I think so?"

"When did school end?" "3 days ago," I laughed. "Wait aren't we.." she silently spoke. She gasped, "Aren't we supposed to be graduating! When's graduation day!" She panicked.

"Well mines in a week, I don't know about yours?" She calmed down and sat back again, "I'll just skip it."

I furrowed my eyebrows, "You sure about that? I mean it's important," I tried to convince her.

"Yeah I know, but I want to be here with you," she said as she placed her hand on top of mine, "Aw Cara.. that's so sweet. But I think you should go graduate."

"Yeah it's important but you're more important than that." My heart sank to the floor by her sweet comment, it gave me feels.

"I feel the same way about you," I winked and stood up, putting our plates in the dishwasher.

"So I'll be attending your graduation?" She asked standing next to me, wriggling her arm around my waist and resting her head on my shoulder.

"The seat is all yours," I answered and turned my head be just a bit closer to her face.

But in this moment I'm living in right now, I knew something was about to happen.

She didn't talk, but stayed still. I could see her starring at my lips from my peripheral vision, but I don't want to assume anything.

My heart is starting to beat faster and faster by the second. My eyes were getting ridiculously heavy and dreamy, all because of her.

I don't think I'm tired, I think I'm letting my emotion control my body. I could feel her breath against my lips.

We were so close.. our lips swayed against each other and touched. The little gap was getting smaller.

I bit my lip and closed my eyes as did she. Any second now could lead my emotion to play.

My best friend, the girl I'm in love with, but doesn't know that, yet. This could be a clue, right?

Everything around me stopped as it was just the two of us. We were moving in slowly, but felt just so amazing.

2016 literally was the fastest year I've ever been through. I remember it like yesterday when I first downloaded this amazing app.
