Between Two

Chapter Seven

••Niall's P.O.V••

I just got finished talking to the police officer. I told him how all this took its place. As I was walking up to Liam I bumped into a girl. I kept looking down at my feet, I didn't want her to see me like this, even though I didn't know who she was.
"Oh sorry." She says with an American accent, but it wasn't any accent. It was a Pennsylvanian accent. It was beautiful.
"It's alright," I say looking up, "It was my entire fault. I wasn't watching where I was going."
The girl had blonde hair blue eyes and a slim body. And she had good looks.
She gasps, "What happened to your face?"
"Fight." I say.
"Could I help you with cleaning that mess up?" She asks.
"Yeah, sure I really wouldn't know what to do." I say.
"I guess you wouldn't." She says while giggling, "With that makeup team of yours."
"True." I say.
She takes my hand and guides me to a pavilion. She reaches into her small handbag and pulls out those tiny wipes that you would use to clean out wounds. She gently places it on one of my open cuts and I wince. It was pretty painful. I bit down on my lip resisting the erg to scream at the pain making its way to my face.
"I didn't quite catch your name, lassie." I say.
"Kiersten." She says softly.
"Kiersten, nice name." I say, "What are you doing here in England?"
"College trip." She says, "Just taking a break from the studies."
"Nice." I say, "What are you studying?"
"Just writing. I figured I wanted to become an author." She says.
"That's a big step of the way." I say.
"I know. It's going to be hard." She says.
"Yeah." I say.
She looks up from where my cut was on my chin and looked me in the eyes, "Niall, does the wipe hurt your cuts?"
"Not really." I lie, "And how do you know my name?"
Why? I knew she knew my name because I was a celebrity! I'm just falling for her, I guess.
"Duhh, silly, your in One Direction." She says.
"I'm sorry. I didn't mean to be blind." I say.
"It's fine." She says while cleaning my forehead wounds.
She finishes up and I wanted to get to know her more.
"Kiersten, would you like to hang out with me for a bit?" I ask.
"Sure." She says and I could see her starting to blush.
I grabbed her hand and walked over to the boys.
"There you are, Niall!" Liam says, "Who do you got there?"
"Guys this is Kiersten." I say.
"Nice to meet you, love." Harry says smirking.
I mouthed Back Off to him. He rolled his eyes and pointed to Eleanor as if to say I've got her.
I went to put my arm over Kiersten but she walked up to Liam to shake his hand. I saw that Louis was trying to hold back laughter. I glared at him. Who laughs at someone who fails. Wait, I'm insulting myself again.
"Hey guys, want to go to a party?" Zayn asks while looking at his phone.
"Who's hosting it?" I ask.
"Taylor Swift." He replies.
"Hell no." Harry says.
"Sure, it'd be fun to ruin her party." Louis says.
"Guys, that is so mean." Liam says, "I'm in!"
I laugh, "Count me in. How about you, Kiersten?"
"I'll go just to have fun." She replies.
"I'll go,too." Rose says.
"Why not?" Eleanor says.
"So, let's get back in the van." Liam says taking off.
"Wait, a van?" Kiersten asks.
"Yeah, why?" I ask.
"Do asks kids if they want candy?" She asks.
"No but I think I will just to be freaky." I say while chuckling.
We were the last to make it to the car and so we were stuck in the back.



••Kiersten's P.O.V••

Niall and I made our way to the back of the van. I sat down and buckled up. I just couldn't even contain my excitement. I think I did pretty good back there trying to stay calm.
I was so happy I got to meet everyone. And I really was happy to meet Rose. She seems so sweet and down to earth. And I couldn't help but notice Harry checking me out back there. I knew he was a player and I wasn't about to get myself into all that trouble. I just thought maybe I'd have a chance with Niall, because he's so down to earth. I really want a relationship with him. I want to be his princess. I want to be someone's girlfriend who gets along with Rose. Because I can tell Eleanor and her wouldn't ever be friends in a million of years.

"Kiersten?" Niall asks.
I jump at his words as it pulls me back to reality, "Yeah?"
"C'mon love we're here." He says.
"Oh, sorry." I say as I look outside to the huge house in front of us.
I get out of the car and Niall slides the door for me. He grabs my hand and I try not to flinch at his touch. I really have never held hands with a guy like this before. Especially when it was my celebrity crush. Well one of them of course. We made our way up the long path to the front door of the house and knocked. The door flew open immediately, which revealed a me in the future but of course i'd be in a relationship. And I wouldn't look like her that much at all. All her facial expressions and her looks in General will not be there. It would be me in a dress, maybe and straight hair and cute flats.
"Hi!" Taylor greets us.
"Hi." I say as nice as I can.
"And you are?" She asks.
"Kiersten." I say.
"Nice to meet you, Kiersten." She says, "Are you Niall's girlfriend?"
I looked up at Niall, only to see him grinning and blushing like crazy.
"Um, no it wouldn't be official. We just met and we kind of are good friends. I guess you could say." I say.
"Cool, come in." She says gesturing us in.
We all fill into the huge house and I look around the room. The room had a bunch of pictures of her and her friends. I found one of her and Harry kissing. I wanted to puke, but I didn't.
"Harry!" Taylor says while smirking and going in to hug him.
Harry makes a face at all of us as if to say I'll get you back.
I walk over to Rose and Eleanor, who were just sitting at a round table.
"Hey, mind if I join?" I ask.
"No, you can sit by me." Rose says while patting the wooden chair next to her.
I smile and take my seat," So, basically what we do is be miserable all night?"
"Basically, this is nothing but boredom!" Eleanor says.
"Why don't we get to know each other?" I ask.
"Perfect idea, Kiersten." Rose says.
"Alright, Rose you go first." I say.
"Well, I have three siblings. My father is currently not with us. My favorite color is green. I'm in a relationship with Louis. My favorite food is Shrimp Alfredo. And yeah." Rose says, "Your turn, Kiersten."
"Um, well. I will have 2 siblings soon. Right now one. And they both are boys. And they are younger. I like to read magazines to know what's going on. I go to college, i'm just here for about two months and then I travel to Ireland to begin my study there. I have to gather information from different countries and make it into one big essay." I say, "My favorite color is blue. And my favorite food are tacos."
"Alright, my turn." Eleanor says, "What don't you guys know about me? I am just everywhere now at days. So is there really any explaining?"
"Yeah, I guess that was for nothing." I say as I watch the boys try to make Taylor's party a bummer.
"This is truly boring. Do they do this every year?" I ask.
"Yes." Eleanor says, "But at different peoples houses and different times each year."
"Oh god, good luck to both of you." I say.
"Hey, you aren't leaving us." Rose says.
"What do you mean?" I ask.
"We need girl time and we don't get it much, would you please stay?" Eleanor says.
"I wish I could but I have college." I say.
"You can transfer to somewhere around here." Rose says.
"But I have a family to get back to in the U.S."I say.
"Crap, I totally forgot." Rose says.
"Sorry, to bum you guys out." I say.
"No it's fine, we'll make good friends in two months." Eleanor says.
"Ooh and we can Skype!" Rose says.
"Yeah." I say.
"So, do you have feelings for the Irish?" Eleanor asks while nudging me.
"No." I lie.
"Such a lie!" Rose says.
"No it's not!" I say.
"Yeah it is!" Eleanor says.
"How'd you guys tell?" I ask giving in.
"We know girls well." Rose says.
"Well then." I say.
"We can tell he likes you too." Eleanor says.
"The thing is I want a relationship, I truly do. But then I have to leave." I say.
"He would have to leave too." Rose says.
"Long distance relationships work out great. Just look at Zayn and Perrie. They are constantly working non stop." Eleanor says.
"True." I say, "Should I give it a shot, if he asks?"
"Yes!!" Rose says.
"It'd be cute to see you guys together." Eleanor says.
All I could wonder was how Eleanor and Rose were keeping it together. How come they weren't at it? Did they make up or something? If they did, it was definitely not in the papers!
