His angel

Nandini's pov

"I have kept some milk for her in the bottle do give her after two hours," I chipped.

"Ok! Here comes our angel," Harsh chipped entering the room carrying Adhira who was looking a cute disney fairy in her pink frock.

"Aww she looks so so so cute!"

I took her from his arms as Harsh went to change his shirt.

I madd her have some milk meanwhile Harsh came.

"We have got late," he said as he came to us to pick Adhira.

"You aren't going for any meeting Harsh. Why are you hurrying so much?"

Adhira happily jumped in his lap and even planted a quick kiss on his cheek.

"She never kisses me like this," I pouted.

"Because she loves me more!" he winked and came closer saying," But I don't want you to feel left out," he said and kissed my nose and left the room making my skin undergo a deeper shade of red.

I still wanted to do something to stop them from going to that man's place but Harsh never skips taking Adhira to Manik's place. I still can't stand that man. The last time I saw him was months back when he had come to drop Adhira and Harsh back home after his monthly meet with her. One look at him and I was sure that I can never ever forgive him.

"We are getting late Nandu, please bring her stuff in the car," he said and I followed them.

Once in the car, Harsh was about to leave when I chipped," Do come for lunch. I will make your favourite dishes if you will come on time!"

I noticed him giving me smirking look." I think your offer is good but lady I am not that fool to not get your real motive."

"What do you mean?" I asked though regretted chipping it the next moment.

"I know that you want us to leave Manik's place soon but try to understand Nandu. He just gets a day."

I looked away and folded my hands across my chest.

"Now don't be upset Nandu. You know na that seeing you upset makes my mood off."

Adhira clapped her hands drawing our attention. She laughed at her own act making both of us smile.

"Do drive safely and I will miss you both," I said.

"If thats the case then join us," he suggested quickly but I replied in no time," No way! I will never go to that monster's place!" Harsh laughed at my sudden reaction and soon they left the place.

Manik's pov

"Sir, we have cleaned baby's room entirely," the servant said.

"Have you arranged all the new toys I had brought the previouw week?"

"Yes Sir."

They would coming any moment. I couldn't even have my breakfast due the excitement of seeing Adhira today. Sundays have never been this beautiful ever in my life. Three months back I had designed a room specially for Adhira having a number of toys which I had bought myself. When she entered the room for the very first time she looked quite thrilled to see so many toys all at the same place and I realized that my attempt was worth it.

Adhira might have started walking by now. I wasn't quite sure as the last month I saw her she used to run everywhere on her knees.

"We are here!" I heard someone's voice and turned to see Harsh holding my daughter in his arms.I rushed to them too eager to hold her.
