Once Emily had told Skyla what she had just remembered she put down the phone, opened up her diary with a dark blue cover and the letters live your dreams embroidered on the front. She opened the padlock and wrote
Dear diary,
Amy has died and I just don't understand how I am the only one who heard her scream in the night. What is happening to me!? I just don't understand it, I need help and the only one I feel I can talk to about it is Skyla and it's not like I have never told her a promise as big as this! What if she tells someone? Will she see the same fate as Amy?! I can't loose my only friend! What should I do?
The next day at school was exactly the same as always Emily and Skyla met at the gate,then they walked to their lockers,went to class sat down,went to break,back to lesson,went to lunch and then something out of the ordinary happened "AGGGGGGGG!!" Someone screamed. Emily covered her ears then shouted at skyla,who seamed not hear the scream as loud as a storm right ubuve a house "DID YOU NOT HEAR THAT!!??"
"HEY?! hey hear what!?"
"What?! That...that scream!?"
"Em...no one screamed."
