8 weeks later
Lorea and Marlo waited outside the science lab for mason to call it quits for the day, nothing has been in process yet.
"All he's been doing is setting up and rearranging equipment!" Lorea had an irritated tone in her voice.
"it's only been a few weeks" Marlo assured, "give him some time." Lorea checked her watch, the small device read 11:26.
"this is just infuriating! She complained,
"He sure is determined to make this happen, isn't he?" She asked.
"I'm still wondering why Lucinda just gave him the lab without a second thought!" Marlo replied.
Soon after, the door creaked open, and mason proudly steps out.
"Oh Kay, everything is ready to go! Well start this tomorrow!" Mason announced.
"So your seriously going to do this?" Lorea asked,
"yes I am, besides, we need a god to balance out your effects, and what better god to just that, than death, plus I've assigned one of the best scientists out there!" Mason added.
"I'm not sure you should be hiring other people to do the work for you." Marlo confronted, "have you ever heard the saying if you want something done right you gotta do it yourself?"
"Yes, but I'm sure it will be fine." Mason assured. "I'm also going to need some of that fatality magic of yours Marlo, if you don't mind." He asked.
"Yah, sure I'll give you what I have left." Marlo gave Mason a promising awnser.
Lorea had a worried expression on her face.
"I can't believe this is actually happening!" She complained,
Mason gave her a confused look,
"what do you mean?"
Lorea hesitated, "it's just, this has never been done before, what if our technology isn't advance enough? what if we're not ready for this, because if this works, this new God or goddess will add another Member to our system and we need to Make sure that they are prepared for the responsibility!" Her tone was tinted with doubt, then she was cut off with...
"Or maybe, "your just upset because you will soon have an opposite?" Marlo taunted Lorea with a smirk plastered on his face.
"Try me Marlo!!" She snapped
"Guys! calm down, I know what I'm doing!" Mason insisted, "all I have to do is collect some D.N.A and go from there! I have everything under control, trust me!" Lorea took a minute to reply, "okay, fine" she agreed.
The three continued down the hall, the lights flickered, before turning off, the door clicked shut. Just then a small candle was lit. in the candles light, Lucinda stepped out of the dark wearing a big dark brown cloak proceeded quietly down a hall, she walked to a hidden passage in the walls, in the secret room led to a dead end, but at the end was a large oval shaped mirror. the glass was swirling with dark shades of blue, purple, green and black. She lightly tapped her staff against the glass before chanting some sort of spell. the calm colors slowly faded to a bright green. The mirror began to whisper to her, but all that the mirror said was..."two of the same will have the power to save or destroy the realms, the two will only reunite in the hour of darkness, and will finished what they were meant to do"
"When the moon has claimed the earth for its own, a time of war will be heading home."
"A legend one billion years prophesied will come to its peak, peace he claims, vengeance she seeks"
"An act of destruction will stain the sky,
When life is denied by the moons red eye.""a bird believed to be no more will be the key to earths restore."
The mirror said one last sentence slowly....
"equals will clash when night and day are aligned, the two will then be one and IT will have its time."
Lucinda narrowed her eyes as the bright green color faded back to a normal mirror.
"the mirror speak of a new prophecy?" She whispered, "could it really be?..." She asked herself, "two of the same? but that doesn't make any sense!" She asked herself. She pondered for a while,
"this will be our secret," she told the mirror, "no one else is to know about this." Lucinda grabbed the hood on her cape and placed it on her head as she walked out of the room.Prologue end.
