.Chapter 4.

Vikks POV

I stumbled across a very tatty hotel. It looked like it was abandoned, I mean, it looks like the place is falling apart. I walked into the building with the sign 'MOTEL' flickering on and off. I pushed the door, the bell above of the door started ringing. I closed the door and walked towards the reception desk.

A sweaty guy, looked about the age of early 30's, sat at the desk, playing a game on his phone. I'm guessing he didn't notice my presence, so I cleared my throat. He looked up from his phone, then glanced back down at his phone.

"Can I have a room for the night please?" I asked politely. The guy held his left hand out, indicating for me to put the money in his hand. I rummaged in my pockets, and grabbed a £20 our of my pocket. The guy glanced at the money, placed it in pocket and grabbed a pair of keys from his desk.

"Thanks." I muttered before taking the keys out of his hand. I walked out of the building and climbed up the metal stairs that were situated down the side of the building. With every step I took, I felt uneasy, like someone was watching me once again. 

God I hate that feeling.

I looked down at my key and saw the number '9' engraved into it. I held onto the keys, like I was going to loose them for dear life.  I turned right as I got off the stairs and skim read the numbers on the door. Once I saw door number 9, I inserted the key into the keyhole, turning it until I heard a click. I took the keys out of the keyhole and pushed the door. 

Once I was in the room, I closed the door and locked it from the inside. Anyone could walk into my room and probably murder me in my sleep. I chucked my bag on my bed and made my way to the bathroom. I pushed the bathroom door, and entered. I stood in front of the mirror and saw some blood on the back of my neck and a blood stain on my shoulder. 

Thing is, I couldn't feel any pain anymore. Once hurt, wolves and werewolves can instantly heal it the wound. May take a few minutes, but once healed, it looks like you weren't touched at all. Leaves no scars or scratches or anything, you look like nothing has touched you at all.

I turned the hot tap on and grabbed the towel, that was hanging next to the sink, and put it under the tap. I turned the tap off and wring the towel, removing the excess water. I quickly took my shirt off, chucking it to one side, the wiped the blood off my neck and my shoulder. 

I turned the tap back on and rinsed the towel, removing the blood from it. Once I got the majority of the blood out of the towel, I turned the tap off and left the towel in the sink. I left the bathroom and closed the door. I grabbed my phone put of my pocket and saw a message. This is new, I rarely get messages. 

It was Tay.

Vik, you left. I'm so sad that you left us. I miss you. I hope you are doing alright. Richard and James is happy that you left, but I'm not. I miss my friend, and I understand staying with Richard and James constantly belittling you is something you want to get away from. I understand the reason you left. I really hope that you are safe. I also understand how you were feeling when the incident with Tee happened. I miss Tee, and I know you miss Tee too. Tee is looking over all of us, mostly you. I know that for a fact. You guys were tight and you were scared, you didn't know what to do. I would be scared and confused in your position. When two vampires are at your friend, you don't know who to go for and what are the consequences. If you constantly think of that Vik, don't. Yes, its hard to forget, but the more you remember, the more you think it is your fault. You never fully got into a fight with about 10 vampires, so I can't blame you for being the way you were. But obviously, James and Richard see you as an easy target to belittle. Anyways I'm blabbing on. I hope you are safe and well Vik. Text me back when you have the time. I just want to know if you are alright xx

As I read that, I felt a tear cascade down my cheek. I miss Tee so much, I miss Tay too. 

"I'm so sorry Tee. I wish I could have helped you. I should have risked my life for you. You should here, roaming the forest in a confident strife, not me." I admitted, my voice slightly shaken. I wiped the tear that was falling down my face and sniffled. I decided to reply back to Tay.

I'm sorry I left Tay. I didn't want to leave you behind,I just needed to get out of there. I have had enough of Richard and James try and lower my confidence. I want to prove them wrong. I want to prove to them that I can become a leader,a supreme. I ran into a vampire infested forest, just my luck right? I killed my first vampire today. That was an achievement. I also ran into 7 other vampires, injured a few of them, one injured me to be fair, but it was just a scratch. I'm fine now.  I miss Tee a lot. I miss you a lot too. Maybe one day, I'll come back and see you. I hope you are okay too. I'm fine. I'll see you soon x

I pressed the send button and waited for it to authorise. Once it sent, I placed my phone on the bed and changed into something more comfortable. When I was dressed in a random shirt and jogging bottoms, I moved my duffle bag onto the floor and climbed into bed.
