.Chapter 16.

Tay's POV

I walked into the empty has, Vik following close behind me. He slapped the door, making me jump slightly. "If they come back, tell me, because I will leave. I want to be away from them for a while." Vik told me before going upstairs to his bedroom.

I sighed, and walked towards the kitchen. You heard the front door open and the 7 guys walked in. "Hey guys." I said, loud enough for Vik to hear. "Hey. Have you seen Vik?" Simon asked. As he said that the front door closed loudly. "He just went out the door."

"I'm sorry for what I did. It just happened. The list for wolf blood just over--"

"You can stop now." You said bluntly. "Look, I'm sorry for being so blunt, just wolf instincts. If a wolf is killed right in front of me, I get into defensive mood and be really bitchy."

"Its fine." Simon retorts.

"Just give him some time. He just needs to clear his head. After what he has experienced, and what just happened, he just needs a minute."

"What happened to him?" JJ asked, which resulted in him getting slapped around the head.

"Remember he had to bury his best friend due to being killed by one of our kind. Just witnessing a wolves death will tamper with Viks feelings." Josh stated.

"Oh. I forgot." He said.

"Are you going to catch up to him?" Josh asked, grabbing a Dr Pepper from the fridge. "In a bit. I think he just needs about 5 minutes to clear his head before I go after him." I told him and he nodded.

"Simon, Josh. Can I ask you a question?" They looked at you and nodded. "The wolves back their called you 'The Beast Of The Vampires'. Can you explain that to me. Since Vik is your protector and I am sort of his side kick, we should know what that's all about. After all, we deserve to know in case that happens again." You continued.

"Honestly, this state occurs when we are extremely angry. But that's only for rare vampires and really high ranked vampires. Its hard to control at times, as you saw what happened to me, I couldn't change back until Simon changed me back. Its very rare for us to change like that. So it really isn't a huge thing to worry about." Josh told me and you nodded.

You hear a loud wolf howl, a familiar wolf howl. You quickly transformed into a wolf and quickly made your way to the front door. "We are coming with you." You heard Simon say, but you growled, taking them aback.

"Stay here." You stated. "Don't follow or else." You made your eyes brighter indicating that you will do something critical.

You ran out of the house and ran into the woods. The howl was heard again and you ran faster towards it. You saw Vik in your field of view, and you instantly ran towards him.

"Ah, the runaway has arrived." You heard a familiar, annoying voice. "Richard." You growled.

"Now we don't need that tone young lady." James stated. "Fuck you." She growled back. James growled also and took a step forward, but was stopped before anything got out of hand. "We didn't come here to pick a fight." Richard stated, whilst James calmed down.

"We heard something that involves you two and some vampires." Richard stated.

"How did you hear that then?" Vik quickly interjected.

"Word spreads quickly through the words." Richard stated.

"Well you heard wrong. We aren't doing anything with vampires. Just me and Vik." You told them and Richard chuckled.

"I'm surprised." Richard continued.

"What do you mean?" Vik question, taking a step forward, which you followed.

"You two relied on us the most for survival, I'm surprised you two are still alive."

"You are wrong, Rich. You don't even know how capable and how strong we both are without you guys. We created our own alliance and we are better than all of you combined." Vik trash talked, making James and Richard laugh.

"Well I don't believe that for a second. Wolves have witnesses you two with 7 bloodlust vampires. I'm curious to why they haven't killed you. You guys certainly not strong enough to kill all 7 of them. Be prepared young ones, you never know what's going to happen next." James stated slyly, before himself and Richard ran back to the pack.

I looked at Vik and saw that he was in shock, speechless even. "Are you okay?" I asked, making my way in front of Vik, so we were face to face. "I'm fine. I'm just trying to decipher the key things they were saying."

After a few moments of silence, Vik looked at me, wide eyed. "Shit!" Vik exclaimed before running away. I quickly ran as fast as I could to catch up with him.

Once we got to the house, Vik transformed into a human, whilst I tried. I turned into human form with all the strength I had, and sped walked beside Vik.

Vik walked into the kitchen where everyone was sitting. I was panting like crazy, but you were coping.

"What was that random entrance for?" Josh asked.

"We are going to war.."
