The wolf stopped about a mile from Granny's house to catch his breath. He was glancing around while he spotted a little shop. He decided to take a quick glance through it's windows while he caught he breath. To his surprise, he saw this bright red fabric in the window. Hmm, he thought, it almost looked like Little Red's hood. If I had that Granny wouldn't know it was me until it was way too late.

How to get it, he thought, how to get it. He quickly devised a plan to get the fabric. The wolf went inside the shop and walked around until the shopkeeper was no longer paying attention to the wolf. He grabbed the red fabric and quickly ran out of the shop and down the path.

Now Little Red was still two miles behind the wolf. She had just finished picking the flowers for Granny. She had a bunch of daisies. The wolf was right, there were so many daisies. In so many different colors too. Little Red picked white ones, oranges ones or were they maybe dark yellow. Either way she picked some pink and red ones too. Little Red loved the red daisies tho. She thought Granny would really appreciate them and that they would make her think of Little Red.

Little Red finally noticed how low the sun was getting. I must really get going if I want to make it to Granny's house by the time it gets dark. She quickly got lost trying to find the path. After a while, she finally decided to just go in the direction she thought Granny's house would be.

After walking a really long time, Little Red found the path again. She was really tired and thirsty and spotted the small shop, you know the same one that the wolf stole from. Little Red checked her pockets to see if she had any allowance left. She found twenty cents, more than enough to buy a bottle of water. When she was walking up to the store, Little Red noticed something was missing from the window. She didn't pay it much attention tho and went inside to buy her water. Little Red got her bottle of water and went to pay. She noticed the shopkeeper was very upset. "What's wrong," Little Red asked.

"I was robbed! A wolf came in and stole some fabric I had in the window," yelled the shopkeeper. Little Red thought about the wolf she met earlier that day. No, it couldn't be him, Little Red thought. Mr. Wolf was very nice and helpful.

The wolf had just arrived at Granny's house while Little Red was paying at the little shop about a mile a way. The wolf slipped the red fabric on so it resembled Little Red's hood and knocked on Granny's front door. "Who is it," Granny asked in weak voice.

"It's me, Little Red," the wolf replied in a high, girly falsetto.

"Oh, come in deary," Granny said. The wolf came in and walked up to Granny's bed. As the wolf got closer, Granny started to notice that something was very different about her granddaughter. "Are you alright, Little Red? Did you get a new haircut? Something's different."

"Yes, I am alright," the wolf replied, smiling widely so all his teeth were showing. As he began to move closer to the bed, Granny began to scream. The wolf quickly ate Granny. Now for the girl, he thought as he got dressed in Granny's clothes and lay down in her bed. Little Red would be here soon and boy, when she got here she would get quite the unpleasant surprise...
