Kangaroo Court (A Sonic Fanfiction)

Prologue

(Sonic POV)

"We trusted you."

"I hate you."

"Why?"

You may know me as hero, or better yet, WORLD HERO. Anyone can identify me in a second, if they have the chance to see me. I have my green eyes that outshine any emeralds. My dazzling smile, and don't forget my cobalt fur. In all, I'm famous! I don't save the world for money or for fame. Only for a better world. Doesn't anyone understand that?

I'm betting the only person who will understand me is my two-tailed brother. First of all we are not Biological brothers, but that doesn't stop us. We've been on mission together since basically the beginning of time. I'm guessing the second person who will understand me is my archenemy Dr. Ivo Robotnik (Eggman). The guy is a gullible genius, probably has the same IQ as Tails. He's always trying to destroy the world, kill me, and make his ever loving dream of an Egg-land. Who would want to go to a dictator theme park filled with crazy robots that want to blast you? Count me out. 

You might wonder why am I talking to you. Well, after all the adventure, being a World Hero, and what others call me. I messed up BIG TIME. I became a villain to the world. Some still call me worse then Eggman. I, Sonic the Hedgehog, snapped and turn evil. 

I'm not evil anymore, my dark form took over me for months. I couldn't control it. After HE died I completely lost it. It was because of that stupid sign. That cursed sign was the trigger for all my problems.  It ruined my life. Where you would find me now is hiding in caves, and making sure GUN doesn't find me. 

Did I tell you I don't have any friends? Not even my number one fan as she says doesn't loves me anymore.  She said she was in love with Sonic the Hedgehog not a monster. Some said she killed herself, I wouldn't care. I suffered through worse. I didn't like her like that anyways only as a friend.

My good friend Knuckles is still guarding the Master Emerald but with a white bat. The bat's name is Rouge. She used to be a gem stealing theft, but after working with GUN for a while she changed her ways. Last I heard she and Knux were partners to watch over the Master Emerald from villains, like me to use it for evil. 

"Excuse me sir, but are you ok?" asked a little boy. "Wow he reminds me of Chris..." I said to myself. "Sir?" he said once again. "I'm fine. Now leave me alone." I said in a harsh tone. He could be a spy for GUN for all I know. "Wait a minute, your Sonic. Sonic the Villain?" he said afraid. "Wow nice to know they changed my name. Now leave. I wish to be alone." I said in an annoyed tone.

"My name is Chuck. I can see you are all alone. My dad told me stories of how you were once a world hero. How come you turned to the dark side, Mr. Sonic sir?" the boy asked curiously. "We all have a dark side in ourself, mine happened to just come out." I said. "What happen to make it come out?" he questioned. "You ask a lot of question for a kid. Haven't your parents told you not to talk to strangers, or better yet Super Villains living in a dark cave?" I asked. 

"Your not a stranger, and no." he said and smiled. "Well fine, seat down kid because your the first person to listen to the real story. It's a long story, and I'm not going to leave any details out. If you fall asleep on the story, then I'm going to leave you here and walk away, got it?" I said. He shook his head up and down not caring about the rules I laid out for him. 

"Well good. Well my real name is Sonic the Hedgehog, not Sonic the villain. Well all this shit happened to me the 2 months after coming back defeating the Metarex, and that stupid sign...." I said.
