Hi guys, sorry that I disappeared for a little while, but my computer broke a few months ago and it had quite a few of the chapters for this story on it. So when the chapters died along with my laptop, my enthusiasm for the story did too and I kinda gave up on it. But now I’m back and promise to finish this story :)
Here is the next chapter sorry for any grammatical errors. Please leave a comment and tell me what you think as it really does help me progress, and a vote would be nice too, Thanks xx
Ava
“Sky…Sky…Sky” a velvety voice whispered into my ear, tickling me in the process
“10 more minutes please, I don’t want to get up yet Ava” I moaned burying myself deeper into the cocoon I had formed with my blanket.
“As lovely as your sister is, I’m not her Skylar” that oh so familiar voice chuckled
Shit! Any sleep left in me quickly vanished as my eyes shot open. I quickly brushed my fingers through my hair, trying to get my hair flat, instead of the many directions it was in at that moment. “Give me a break” I muttered to myself as I looked down at my sleeping attire; I was wearing an oversized The Simpsons t-shirt with ketchup stains on it, some short and knee length mismatched socks, I looked a mess. I glanced at my wrist watch to see what time it was, 5 to 11. Double shit! I over slept I was supposed to be going to the library today.
“Hey” I croaked, finally emerging from the covers and looking at Jase. He stood there casually at the foot of my bed like he owned it, looking like her just walked out of a GQ magazine. His face was all hard planes and angles, cheekbones and jawline softened by those pillowy lips. His dark chocolate hair was a dishevelled mess in a sexy way, and his cobalt blue eyes had a small glint to them, a small tell-tale sign that he was happy. He was wearing dark blue jeans that were faded at the knee, a worn out AC/DC shirt and a navy professor jacket; you know the ones with patchwork elbows.
“Morning sunshine, you need to get up” he said with a shit eating grin plastered on his face
“How did you get in, and what are you doing her” I asked more curious about the first question, as Ava should have already left for work so she couldn’t have let him in.
“Why you don’t want me here?… that hurts Skylar” he said in sad tone, feigning hurt
“You know what I mean” I laughed as I sat up in bed
“I climbed through your window, you really shouldn’t leave that thing open during the night, you never know what kind of creep might try to climb up here and have his way with you whilst you’re knocked out unconscious” he said in a tone of seriousness
“Too late for that, you already got in” I joked
“Hilarious”
“I know, thank you”
“Back to answering your question, I thought that we could hang out today, we haven’t seen each other in ages and I thought today could be a good Jase and Skylar day, so get up and get ready, cause I’m taking you out” he said grabbing my had and pulling me out of bed
“I can’t go, I’m sorry, I’m supposed to be going to the library I’ve got this-“
“I don’t care, you’re coming with me, so go and get ready”
“Fine” I said quickly forgetting any pervious plans to go to the library and heading to the shower
“I’ll be in your kitchen, rummaging through your fridge for food” he shouted as he headed out of my room and down the stairs.
