As I was opening my eyes, I could feel the sunlight shining onto my face. "Ouch...my eyes are burning ..." I said as I was turning around, going under my covers. I don't want to get up. It's Saturday I can wake up until I feel like it.
"Y/n!!!!!".
I heard someone yelling my name. I didn't know who it was so I just decided to yell back. "Five more minutes! I am tired still,". As I finished yelling, I heard the door smash open. I quickly sat up and saw that it was y/bff/n.
"WHY AREN'T YOU UP YET!!!!" Y/bff/n yelled, as I was wiping my eyes
"Well..because it is Saturday and I am still tired" I stated trying to tuck back in my covers. "Goodnight".
"WHAT DO YOU MEAN BY GOODNIGHT?!? YOU MUST MEAN GOOD MORNING!! AND ITS YOUR BIRTHDAY TODAY!!" She stated. She took my covers that I tucked in and pulled them right off.
"Hey. Is that all you got to get me off my bed?" I said shutting my eyes tight
"Nope. But this is!" she said hitting me with a pillow. And to top it off she jumped on top of me. "Get up!"
"Okay. Fine. Just get off of me" I said getting up, heading down stairs
"Happy birthday to you. Happy birthday to you. Happy birthday dear y/n. Happy birthday to you!" She sanged while following me downstairs
"What time is it?"I asked heading to the kitchen, to get a cup of coffee
"It is 8:36" she said proudly getting a cup of coffee as well
"What!? It's 8:36? Why did you come so early?And how did you come in?" I stated surprised and somewhat angry. Holding onto my cup of coffee tight, taking a sip.
"Well, your mom let me in and then she went upstairs to her bedroom. And I came here to give you your birthday gift," she said gripping on her cup
I looked at her confused. Why would she come this early to give me my birthday gift? Can't she give it to me later today in the afternoon? It took me along time to think about it. When I finished my cup of coffee, y/bff/n asked for some cookies. So I got up to attend her.
"While I am eating go upstairs and get ready. Bc my mom is coming to pick us up," y/bff/n said happily munching onto her cookie. I looked at her suspiciously. Why is her mom coming to pick us up?
"Did my mom agree to go where your mom is taking us?" I questioned taking one step up the stairs
"Yea. My mom called your mom to ask her if it was fine to take you with us. Anyways you are turning 18. So you don't really have to ask your mom to go to places. Especially with me. We had been best friends since we were little," she stated taking her phone out . "Now go up stairs and get ready. I am not getting any older,"
"Okay. Fine, I will be right back," I rushed up the stairs, entering my room. I went to my closet and chose to wear a light maroon shirt that shows your shoulders. And I chose to wear demi shorts with a Black choker. I went to the bathroom to go do my hair. I made a French braid and I put on my black little boots. I went down stairs and got my little brown purse. I put my phone and wallet in it.
"I'm ready" I said going towards her
"Wow it took you like...forever. I almost turned into dust," she said laughing to death
"Haha. Very funny. So when is your mom coming?"I questioned, taking her empty cup to the sink
"She is almost he-," right when y/bff/n could even finish her sentence, her mom knocked at the door
"I think that's here" I said as I opened the door
"Hi Y/n! Happy Birthday! Are you ready for your birthday gift?"she said, happily hugging me
"Yea I am,"I said confused and at the same time confident
"Where is your mom?" Y/bff/n's mom questioned
"She is upstairs. I think..." I said. "Mom! Y/bff/n's mom came to pick me up!" I yelled upstairs, wondering what my mom could possibly be doing. She came downstairs and talked to y/bff/n's mom for a awhile. After that, it was time for us to go. I am very excited for my birthday gift. Yay!
"Bye mom I love you," I said hugging my mom tight
"Bye y/n. If you need anything just call me,"she said letting go of me
We went to the car, I sat in the back with y/bff/n. So, no one sat in the passenger seat.
"I am so excited!And hungry..."I said looking at the fast food restaurants, that we were passing by.
"Didn't you eat breakfast?" Y/bff/n questioned
"No because you woked me up and after that I had to get ready to go to... wherever we are going," I stated. "I only got to drink coffee,"
"Ok fine," she said. "Mom y/n and me are hungry can we eat something fast?"
"Ok. How about In-n-Out?" Y/bff/n's mom questioned, stopping at a red light
"Yea!" Y/bff/n and me yelled out happily
When we finished we got back on the road. It took us one hour to get there. When we got there y/bff/n's mom told us to be with each other at all times. Don't leave each other's side. She just dropped us off, somewhere where there was a lot of noise. But, I couldn't see anyone.
"Is this your gift for me? That your mom just leaves us here? Somewhere noisy and I can see anyone causing that loud noise? "I stated confused
"Don't worry y/n. You are going to love my gift. You are going to love me forever. We just have to go around the building and you are going to see your gift from yours truly...y/bff/n!" She said looking at me happy and excited. I really wondered what could possibly be causing that really loud noise. I thought to myself as we where walking.
Wow this place is really noisy. There must be something going on. But I just can't see what it is. And y/bff/n is acting so excited. Well I am going to find out right now.
