Resentment

It was like a thousand thorns pierced my heart
Words hurt
Echoes of doubt
Expressions of disgust
Your Nonchalant attitude flowered
throughout the thin
Crisp air
While my milky words
Dripped with weaken feelings
A breeze of desperation sweeping over me
Breathe in, breathe out
The need to be understood
The emergency of wanting to be accepted for who I am
Yet I am met with outrage
Annoyance
Push back
Dismissal
I just wanted to talk it out
To assess the problem
And solve it or get it out
But you didn't care
That was the key element missing
That I missed
