emily is yellow-orange.
bright, interesting, loud. she takes and gives equally, has an opinion in orange and smiles in yellow.
daniella is grey.
who i used to think i was, solemn, static and dynamic. she fluctuates, speaking in cool grey and laughing in warm.
jackie is red.
needs, takes, comforting in the most aggressive way. they are fluid, venting in orange red and yet still maroon sometimes.
christina is green.
earthy green, kind, connected. she is down to earth with her head in the clouds, scolding in yellow green and speaking with passion in brown.
ava is green.
olive green, jewel toned, calm but so not calm. she doesn't float away but cannot stay tethered, so she hovers above, dipping down with us darker, and hovering up lighter.
mary kate is purple.
darker and lighter, one side or another, she changes. always there, always different, yet constant, floating towards red when talking, towards blue while smiling.
angelina is white.
clear, clean, comforting. she changes fluidly, subtly, getting darker as she goes like a storm cloud, but lighter as she thinks.
maddie is orange.
changing and complimenting us, true to the sense of friendship. she is always there, always, red when we argue and when we meet, orange when we laugh and we smile.
i am blue.
i am sad, i am tired. i turn sky, i turn navy, but i am always blue. sometimes i'm so dark you can't tell the difference between black. sometimes i'm so light, brought lighter by my orange, that you can see the blue only when you squint. but i can never change colour. i am always, always, blue.
