Getting to camp is gonna be harder than I thought it would be. It's been two days and I not only haven't found camp, but I've fought like a dozen Venti, storm winds. But, I know I'm getting closer to the camp. All I have to do is go down this hill to the highway median below where two people are guarding some kind of access tunnel. Okay, hang on a sec. So Lupa told me how mortals can't see through the Mist, this primeval magical veil that shields them from the truth of the monster world. since that access tunnel is guarded by what I think are demigods, the mortals might not see a tunnel. They might see a maintenance door or nothing at all. It depends on how well they see through the Mist. Some can see through, kinda like Ariadne in the Labyrinth.
Anyways... So hill tunnel camp. No biggie right? WRONG! I would have to slide down this hill somehow because its too steep to climb down. Sadly I don't have a sled. Welp here goes nothing. **Trips and falls** "AHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!" (THOUGHTS: I don't want to hit the ground.) All of a sudden I stopped falling. I opened my eyes. I WAS FLYING!!!!!!!!!!
I looked down at the two people guarding the tunnel and saw that they were watching me. I was trying to think of a way I could fly over there without looking like a total idiot. so I thought (Go Forwards). I moved towards the guards. they looked at me in awe and fear and other emotions so I knew they were either clear-sighted mortals or demigods. The guard on the left was tall and had a build like a football player. he had a PILUM, or a spear. the other guard was kinda scrawny and had a gladius, or a short sword. All of that registered in the time it took me to fly over there. Once I landed I just knew I found the camp because my instincts were pointing me towards the other side of the tunnel.
