I'm a werewolf? (On Hold)

Chapter 1

There is a teenage girl named Kathrin. She had raven black hair and ocean blue eyes. She had her whole life planned out. She was going to be Valedictorian of her class. She was going to go to the best college to be a doctor. She was going to graduate college and get a job. After all her schooling was done she was going to get married after she got a good paying job. There was just one thing that messed that up for her...she was a werewolf and didn't know it, but before we get too far ahead let's find out how it happened.

I woke up at my regular time and got ready for school. I met my best friend, Haley, in front of the school and we went to our lockers. While walking down the hall we saw a new student in the office. He turned around sharply when we passed the door. As I passed him I smelt the most amazing smell ever, it was vanilla and woods. He was the most beautiful person I've ever seen. With brown hair and a beautiful shade of green eyes. He was also VERY buff. When we were farther down the hall Haley basicly screamed at me, "Did you see the way he looked at you?! It was like he fell in love with you on the spot!'' I calmly replied, " He did not. Someone doesn't just fall in love with someone they haven't even met."

Haley just shook her head and said, "Just because you don't think you're attractive, doesn't mean guys don't." I just dropped the subject and continued walking. We have been over this, Haley says that I'm the prettiest girl in the whole world, but I think I am a potato. If I would've continued the conversation, Haley would just continue arguing with me and I don't want to start the morning with that. We finally got to our lockers and got our books for our first few classes. The bell rang and we headed to first period. As soon as I set foot in the classroom the intercom rang and the secretary said, "Kathrin please come to the office."

     I walk down the halls wondering what was going on. When I walked into the office the principal and the new guy. The principal sees me and smiles while walking over to me. He says, "Kathrin, this is, Carlos, a new student" pointing to the new guy. The principal continues, " Since you are the best student here I want you to show him around, and help Carlos with his schedule." I mentally slapped my forehead, this is just what I need... to babysit someone my best friend claims to be in love with me. This is going to be great, but I replied calmly, "Yes sir." I walked to Carlos and the whole time he was just openly checking me out.
I rolled my eyes and held my hand out and said, "Its nice to meet you my name's Kathrin." He smiled and shook my hand while replying, "Nice to meet you, and you already know my name." When his hand made contact with mine I felt sparks, I was shocked but I didn't jump. I nodded and asked for his schedule, and guess what...he had the EXACT same schedule as me. I sighed and said, "Well you have the same schedule as me so it won't be hard to show you around." When he heard me his face lit up with happiness. I don't know why but it made me feel happy when he felt happy. Then the principal broke in and said, "Ok, now you two get to class."

     We walked into class and everyone looked our way. I went and sat down. When Carlos sat down I got death stares because he sat down beside me. Can he not just leave me alone? I look the other way at Haley. She has the evilest smile on her face, and gives me a look that says we are going to go through all the details that happened later. I can tell this is going to be a long day.

     At lunch Haley comes running towards me and yells, "Give me all the details and don't leave out a single word!" I tell her everything that happened in the office that morning. She jumps up and down saying, "That's so sweet, I told you he was in love with you! I wish I had someone like him." "I'm sure you will Haley just be patient." She says "Easy for you to say, you get someone to fall In love with you at first sight. I can't even find someone that doesn't just want in my pants."
I frown remembering all the guys she dated, she was really attractive with blonde curly hair, sky blue eyes and a filled out body. "You've just dated all the wrong guys, you're perfect someone is still out there somewhere", I say. She looks at me shocked. "What", I ask. "You were just talking about perfect someones, and you don't believe in all of that and forget speaking about it, yet you just did!" "Oh whatever, just shut-up." She laughs a and then we go sit down to eat.

     I bet you'll never guess who comes over and sits with us. That's right Carlos does. He smiles at me then sits down next to me. When he does he accidentally brushes my arm and I feel the sparks again. I look away from him and look at my food instead. He says, "Thank you for showing me around today Kat." I usually hate that nickname, but some reason him giving me a nickname makes me feel special. I smile up at him and say, "No problem." The whole time Haley is staring at us with a huge smile.

     Haley waits for a little bit then gets inpatient and looks at Carlos and say, "Hi my name is Haley I'm Kathrin's bestfriend" while sticking her hand out. "Hi Haley nice to meet you my name's Carlos." We then continue to eat our lunch.

     After school I head home exhausted from today's events. I know I'm going to have a good night's rest.
