I woke up the next morning feeling lonely for some reason. I had a strange feeling like I was missing something but I don't know what it could be. I jumped in the shower and got dressed for school.

I walked down the stairs and grabbed a pop tart, then went out the door. I got in my car and headed to school. My car was a red Ferrari by the way.

When I got to school I smelt Carlos before I saw him. God! I thought, he was the most delicious thing I've ever smelt. I think I could eat him. Wait, what?! No Kathrin, you don't really mean that so you. I don't have time for boys. I need to put all my focus into my school work so I could be valedictorian of my class.

Anyway, back to what we were talking about. I turn around to see him start walking towards me and my mouth started watering. He was wearing a tight shirt showing off all his yummy muscles. I mean all his normal muscles. He was also wearing dark blue jeans and tennis shoes. When he got to me his eyes roamed over my body and it could be me but I swear his eyes got darker. I was wearing a blue firm fitting dress but it wasn't a tight one, with flats and natural makeup.

I don't know why but I liked that he was looking me over. When he was done he looked at me and said, "I like your dress, it looks good on you." I blushed at his compliment. He saw and gave me a smirk. I rolled my eyes and replied, "Not bad yourself." I then headed to my locker and felt Carlos catch up to me and walk beside me.

When ever I passed a guy and they stared, Carlos growled at them. Yes, I said growled. I thought he was just acting like an annoying big brother. Then when I caught girls checking him out, it was all I could do not to rip their eyes out. I don't know what was going on but I didn't like the idea of another female checking him out or touching him.

We got to my locker and Haley was already there. She saw Carlos by me and smiled so big you could see all her bright white teeth. I could tell she was thinking about something.

We reached her and she asked both me and Carlos, "Are y'all doing anything tonight? I want to go eat somewhere but don't want to go alone." Carlos was the first to answer, "I'm free tonight." She nodded smiling then looked at me. She could tell that I was about to say no, so she gave me a pleading look and begged, "Please please please!?!?" I sighed knowing she wasn't going to let me say no and just shook my head yes.

She started jumping up and down yelling, "Yes yes yes, thank you Kathie!" I smiled at her nickname for me and asked, " What time?" She said, "Be ready around 8 and I'll text both of you." Carlos and I both said, "Ok" Then we all walked to class.

After school I headed home and got ready for tonight. I chose a loose fitting white dress, curled my hair and did my makeup. By the time I finished it was 7:30. I decided to text Haley.

Five minutes later she did and I got in my car and drove their. Now it was 7:50. I saw a black mustang pull up and out of it came Carlos. I didn't think he could get any hotter than earlier today but I was wrong. He wore a tight fitting button up shirt blue jeans and tennis shoes. He walked up and smiled down at me since he was at least 6' and I was only 5'4. He said, "You look gorgeous." Just like earlier today I blushed.

He smirked and asked, "Where's your friend Haley?" I shrugged my shoulders and said, "I don't know I'll text her."

Hey Haley where are you at?

I got sick all of a sudden, it will just be you and Carlos tonight.

I gasped realizing what she had just done. She had tricked me into going out to eat with Carlos. I texted her back.

I know what you did and you are dead tomorrow morning, you little rat!!

I knew you wouldn't do it on your own, so I gave you a little push.

Me-I didn't want date with him, I want to just have to worry about my grades.

Haley- thats all you ever worry about and I didn't say anything about you dating him you just did. I only planned this one time going to dinner with him, so that proves that you like him anyways

When I got done reading the last text I looked back at the other texts and saw that she was right, I was the one that brought up dating him. She was also right about me only ever worrying about my grades. It's been one year since I had a boyfriend. I just want to make my future better for myself and future family. I decided I would just tell Carlos that the dinner got cancelled.

Me to Haley- whatever I'm not going to talk to you the rest of the day though and I'm going home

She didn't respond because she knew I wouldn't text her back. I looked beside me at Carlos ( we had sat down on a bench while I was texting Haley) and told him, " Haley got sick so the plans are cancelled, I'm going to go home." Before I could get up though he asked, "Well why not just eat here with me anyway?" I turned back to him and saw him waiting seriously for my answer. I do care about my grades but I'm a kind person too and I didn't want to hurt his feelings. I thought about it for a minute before I decided,"Sure, I did drive all the way here after all" I mean what would one dinner do?

We went inside and found a table to sit at. The waitress came and took our order. It was obvious that she liked Carlos because she smiled sweetly at him and flirted with him and then glared at me while taking my order. He didn't seem to notice her flirting he just order then watched me while I ordered.

When she left I asked, "You didn't notice her flirting with you?" He shook his head and said, "I noticed but I came here with you and you're much more beautiful." I turned as red as a tomato.

Carlos smirks at me and asks, "You look adorable when you blush, but why do you do it so much?" I looked down when he asked me that and slowly said, "I'm not used to boys giving me compliments, only my family and Haley." He shook he head, "A girl like you should be complimented every single day. I hate myself for it but I blushed AGAIN.

The waitress came back with our food and drinks, but I noticed she had undone THREE of her buttons! I was shocked, who would do that just to get a guy to notice her. She noticed me staring and gave me an evil smirk. When she gave Carlos his food she made sure to bend down low and show her cleavage. Then she walked away swaying her hips.

I looked back at Carlos and he had the nerve to be smiling!! I don't know what came over me but I tried my best not to yell, "You think that was funny?!! She knew you came here with me, and yet she had the nerve not only to flirt with you, but show her cleavage to you!!!"

"Calm down Kath.." I cut him off, "Don't tell me to calm down!" He looked at me hard for interrupting him, "Kathrin let me finish! You need to calm down because I don't care about anyone else but you. Even if I have just met you, I care deeply about you already. It doesn't matter how many girls flirt with me. I've only got eyes for you!"
