you were the rainbow
under the cold, stormy rain;
in times of sorrow,
you were always there to ease the pain;
you were the star in the dark, blue sky;
the one that shone so bright, even in the darkest night;
deep as the ocean, those eyes of yours
would always leave me thinking for hours;
you were the cold coffee in the morning;
something that i would always end up wanting,
even in the bleakest days of my life,
you would always make me smile;
you were that part of my story,
that one which i would never, ever forget;
too bad, you are now just a memory,
something that i would forever regret-
-i would forever regret letting you go;
i would always regret giving you up; but even so,
i am happy, that even just for a little time,
you found this heart of mine;
meeting you was once in a lifetime;
our paths crossed; our lives intertwined;
you brought back the colors in my life;
-that, i would never regret.
