In The Eyes Of Sin /Chapter two

Malena bowed her head saying nothing not wanting to face the consequences, "speak girl!" He shouted, for such a young man was very serious  "there she is!" Maleana sprang to her pained feet ready to flee only to be stopped by the soldier"what is your perpose gentlemen?"the man asked iron grip on Malena's small shoulder "why that girl let our catch get away and-"they looked at each other"she tried to bewicth us" "bewicth you?" The soldier scoffed "aye the little lass be a wicth"the man turned Malena around roughly glearing down at her, she shook her furiously "she is the girl that cant speak the devils voice she has rougher than the sea ,bewicth men with her eyes but never speakes" the soilder crused pushing malena away from him in disgust "leave all of you" he gleared at the men "such foolishness is not to be heard near the palace or you will both be hanged".

The man plaed and left with out a word "thank you kind sir" the soilder jumped as the sweet voice flowed over his body like water he turned looking at the girl her teal eyes bruned brightly and her kissable lips fromed into a smile before she ran off the soilder shook his head as if in a daze what just happened?

Malena sat in her cottage brushing her hair she should not have spoken but even if it had not been true his kindness touched her, she winched as she bandaged her feet, looking at the glowing candlestick her red gown glistening in the dim light as her mind drifted back to her little village.

she had been happy there,her family she missed them dearly,she bit her lip in pain even now she heard there screams as their villaged burned to the ground only the ashed scared ground remained.

she pulled her hair up into a messy bun and was about to blow out the candle light when her door flew off palace soilders storming in Malena screamed as one reached out to grab her Malena stumbled back as he pulled out his sword pointing it at her "come with us wicth or die !" malena trembled she was not a wicth she shook her head in denial, Menlena yelped as he grabed her pressing his blade to her throat "did you hear me cunt" Malena felt a sting knew his blade had cut her she nodded slowly as he pushed her roughly to the door as the other soldiers looked around her tiny cottage it felt so wrong, they had invaded her privicy in the worst way, she stumbled to the carraige the cold bitting in her thin gown "light it!" Malena screamed trying to tear away from the man the held her back as her home went up into flames "shut up!" Malena sobbed slumping aganist the man strenght gone. Why? why were they doing this all she had left off her family was burning the glowing ashes drifting in the nights sky.

she gleared at the man with haterd what had she every done wrong " release me" the mans eyes went blank as he let her go,Malena pushed him away roughly as he shook his head trying to clear it, running off into the night,his angry voice callimg after her in a string of curses.

Malena steadied her breath as she hid on the bushes wacthing the men look for her what had she done nothing - then why did they want her? Had the from before told them?

As they walked past her hiding place melena held her breath her heart pounding uncontrolably,the torch light slowly faded away as the went futher away from her where she was hidden,Malena got up shakly walking away in the opposite direction arms wraped around herself this was going to be a long and cold night.

The hoots of owls and the rattle of leaves sounded thoughout the nights darkness and all around Malena, she still couldnt belive this was happening, her feet ached so much, the grown partically torn to shreds.

How long had she been walking and still the light of day did not grace her with its presence, with trembling hands she whipped the sweat from her brow, if she walked a little futher she could make it to the northern wall.
with that in mind Malena hurried gathering the rest of her skirts in her hands and ran towards the wall as quickly as she could. Its errie black stone blocked out her freedoom she crused the day she set foot inside of them, the kingdom of Maria home to the sons of war, Malana was not one of them she was one of the moon people labled and killed for their gifts, every few decades the voice would be given to a young girl child, it was like a curse and most girls in their village where killed in fear of reciving the voice but Malena's parents were not ones to follow tradition and they kept her and all was well, untill her eighteen birthday when it happened.

~"Malena where are you?" Melena smiled at ken from tree tree she had climbed "is it gentleman like to look up a ladys skirts?" Ken rolled his eyes "aye and no right lady around here climbs trees" Malena giggled "turn around so i can come down" ken did as he was told as he heard her land on the ground he turned back around " your mother told me where to find you" he smiled sweetly at her, ken was a sweetheart a year older than her with dirty blond hair and a well builth body, his blue eyes where always warm , his pink lips always in a smile most girls already asked for his hand but he refused. "Where is olivia then is not she with you" ken faced plaed before he rubbed the back of his neck "Malena i am truly sorry sh...she is gone."

malena stared at him confused "what do u mean shes gone?" " her parents gave-" he didnt finish his sentence before a pained scream ripped from her throat her heart aching,

"how could they do that?
how?! "Malena it had to be done" ken wisphered softly she felt something in her crack "why dont you die then?! If its so easy take your life!" Before he eyes ken's face went emotionless and in a second blood flashed across her face,Malena blinked trembling there was blood but it wasnt hers ken lay on thr ground blood gushing out from his silt throat as bile rose in Malena's throat, she screamed in angry,in loss she just killed her friend, recived the curse and killed her friend this repeated it self in her head over and over as her throat went raw as the villagers came running to see what had happened~

Malena would never forget the look of horror on their faces, nor the screams that fell on deaf ears as they killed her parents. She had fleed and never spoke unless it was necssary but now she was going to flee again however no matter what this time she would have to use her voice to escape and to servive.
