Hanging life

Lucy Thompson was a very smart young girl.
She had long brown hair and bright hazel eyes.
At the summer groups her parents would force her to go.
She was bullied very harshly.
'Why are you so short!'
'Why are you so stupid!'
'No one likes you!'
'Get over yourself !'
'Just make everyone happy and kill yourself...'
These were the things everyone would yell at her.
Lucy's one and only friend Stephanie would always punch who ever even looked at Lucy the wrong way.
But the harsh comments would still reach her ears.
At the age of 10 Lucy Thompson wrote a note, one note said....
        To mama and papa,
Thank you for loving me (although I don't see why) thank you for trying to make me happy and I hope you will just forget about me.
                       -Love
                        Your lost child
The second note she wrote was to Stephanie this note she had taken her time with. The note said...
        Dear Stephanie,
I-I don't even know where to start. I only know where it ends. Here it goes. Thank you for making me smile. You made my smiles real. You showed me how good life can be. And I hope you live your life to the fullest. Just know I'm happy now. I'm in heaven, You have a big adventure ahead of you. Don't forget about me and I'll see you when you get up here. But this is for everyone's happiness.
                 - Love
                        Lucy
The next morning 10 year old lil Stephanie walked into the cold lonely room as she usually did to walk to the summer program.
But the morning did not go as planned.
Stephanie's smile dropped and her knees buckled as she dropped to the floor.
She let out a load scream as she seen her best friend hanging from the ceiling by a belt.
At her funeral Stephanie stood silent. She was so angry at the world. This cruel world had destroyed her loved one. She looked around at the parents crying and her 5 siblings that were too young to understand stand look at mommy with fear of why she was so upset and why they were in this weird room. Brianna the little 6 year old walked up to Stephanie her blankie in hand. "W-where did big sissy go?" The little girl asked Stephanie looked out the window and up at the sky and said "She's in heaven now she's happy". Baby Brianna started to cry. Stephanie walked out of the room. Stephanie did not cry that day. She let the sky do it for her.

The next day at the summer program Stephanie walked up to the girl who would make fun of Lucy the most. The person standing infront of her was the reason that Lucy was not here.
Stephanie wanted this girl to meet the same fate.
She pushed the girl into the wall and the girl closed her eyes tight waiting for the hit. Stephanie could not do it though. She did what she promised she would never do. She cried. She had told the girl infront of her that now she has to live with the fact that she killed someone.
Every year Stephanie walks up to the concrete angle and lays a dozen of white roses at the grave and cries over her lost friend.

Before you say something to hurt another think about how much your words really hurt. And to the people that watch as another gets beaten down by this cold world and the cold people in it. Your also to blame when that person takes their last breath. Stop the fight! Speak up against bullying!

           In loving memory of
            Lucy Thompson
      I will never forget you....
