Chapter 7 - Rose Petals

Tayla's P.O.V

Last night made me think, wonder what life would be like if I was actually with Ashton. It made me realise that the feelings I had for Calum meant nothing compared to the ones I had deep down towards Ashton.

A few weeks had past and me and Calum were going strong. But I still doubted my feelings towards him. He was a decent guy and all but I don't think I really loved him. Every time I saw Ashton I felt butterflies in my stomach I didn't get that at all with Calum.

While I was in mind thought my phone buzzed.

From Cal: Hey babe, come over to mine today? I have something special planned. X

I read over the message a couple of times trying to decide if I actually wanted to go or not.

To Cal: okay I'll be there at 2 x

Once I got to Calum's house I walked up the the door and knocked twice with no reply. I wonder what he was doing? I opened the door slowly.

"Calum?" I said loud enough so anyone in the house could hear it. I looked around and saw rose petals scattered along the floor with a note saying 'follow me'. I did what the note said and followed them. Once I got to the bottom of the stairs that lead up to the bedrooms was when I finally realised what was happening. I continued to follow them up hoping that it wasn't going where I thought. I walked into Calum's room to see scented candles lit everywhere. The whole room smelt of red roses. I was trying to take in the scene when someone's hands caught me off guard running up and down my sides.

"Hello babe. do you like it?" the voice whispered into my ear. I turned around to see Calum. His eyes a deep brown they looked amazing.

"It's very beautiful." I replied feeling a little uneasy.

"Just like you." Calum leaned in a kissed me, it seemed more intense than normal. His hand ran up my sides sliding my top off.

I froze. "Calum I, I can't do this." He seemed confused by my words.

"There is nothing to worry about Tayla." He said continuing to kiss me. I pushed him back.

"I can't do this right now Calum." I said taking a step back away from his grasp.

"Why?"

"I just, I can't." I said avoiding his eye contact.

"You love someone else don't you?" He looked shattered.

"I, I never said that." I replied looking at the ground.

"I can't believe you! I love you tayla. How could you do this to me? I thought you loved me." he said getting angry.

"I'm sorry Calum, things happen."

"What could have possibly happened since yesterday? we were talking on the phone and you were happy." He said raising his voice.

"Brie talked to me! Okay. She talked some sense into me!"

"Brie did. how does she even know how you feel!?" He was pacing in anger now. "That little bitch."

"No! Don't you ever say that about my friends again! She just talked to me! she didn't sit me down and tell me to fucking dump you! that's my own decision!" I yelled.

"Who is it then?" He yelled back. I couldn't bring myself to tell him. If I did it would wreck their relationship.

"WHO THE FUCK IS IT TAYLA?!" he said pushing me into the wall. The air was knocked from my lungs.

"TELL ME BITCH! WHO?" He said holing my arms above me. I was still against the wall trying to get my breath back. I was now shaking.

"WHO?"

"Ashton." I whimpered. He realised his grasp on my arms and I dropped to the floor. I grabbed my bag and tried to run out of the room but Calum beat me to the door slamming it closed.

"Him, why him? I could do so much more for you Tayla." Tears were forming in his eyes.

"I'm sorry Calum." I said trying to get out the door but he wouldn't let me out. "Please let be out Calum. I don't know what I can do?"

"You can love me again." he said cutting me off. "If you've loved me once you can do it again."

"Calum it doesn't work that way. you know that."

"But if we try we can." He looked so sad.

"Calum I wish it would work like that. But it's just not going to work. I'm sorry."

"Well if you won't love me neither can Ashton. You can stay here. I'm not letting you out." My stomach dropped.

"Please let me out Calum. Please." I said starting to panic a little.

"Do you love me?"

"Calum don't do this."

Anger sparked in his eyes. "You don't love me, you're not leaving."

Brie's P.O.V

"Come on let me pick a song this time!" I giggled as Michael once again dived for the iPod Dock as the song finished.

"Nope. you snooze you lose!" he replied.

"You are so lucky you have a good music taste!" I said giving up on fighting him for music control.

My phone buzzed.

From tayla: SOS at Calum's.

"Michael get dressed now. Tayla needs our help she is at Calum's." I said as I got up and quickly threw my shoes on, grabbed my handbag and ran to the car.

"What's happened?" Michael said as he got in the car. I showed him the text and he immediately became as worried as I was.

"Let's go. Fast."
