Chapter 2: Darwin Ward

(Ding) "Who have now reached the sixth floor" The elevator informs. The mirrored metal doors open up to a long corridor filled with chaos. Running doctors, patients moaning of the what seems an endless pain and a constant paycheck always sounding it's alerts. "You're late Doctor March" Jac Naylor howls as she glides her heels past the elevator door, swishing steadily. "Sorry", Zosia sighs rushing through the twisted hallways of the ward. Jac Naylor is an Cardiothoracic Consultant Surgeon and also the Director of Cardiothoracic Surgery, she should never be looked down upon or being given any unnecessary form of neglegent feedback. Otherwise, be warned. The venemous bite that is Naylor's sarcastic chat backs will certaintly have you bowing at deaths door and praising for forgiveness. Best to keep the morning blues where they are best kept, in your daybreak coffee.

The wards are almost best described as a maze, lots of twists and you were to take the wrong right run you will find yourself eternally trapped in a dungeon of warts. Just kidding, we don't have dermatologists up here. But draining an absess might as well be. When doing 8 years of medicene training she of course never thought she would be here. Infact Zosia's main focus was to become a highly trained Neurosurgen to work alongside her own father Guy Self. Self is a Consultant Neurosurgen on Darwin Ward who is assertive and driven, he is a leader who always demands excellence from others and has taught his daughter zoshie to follow his footsteps. Zosia will always look up to her father and despite their working hours splitting them apart they still find times to meet each other on work breaks. Unfortunately they don't talk about her mother anymore...

Well, there we go chaps! That's two chapters in one night for you. I will make one more chapter before I start unwinding Zosia's past and personality so we can get to know the ward a little better. I am really enjoying this particular story as Zosia is my most favourite character at Holby. I really hope you enjoyed this chapter! xxxx
