Hermione The Death Eater

Adopted

I was hiding in my room only letting Blaise and Theo enter. We had been spending more time together since our father had left. "Hermione let me in" the dark lord yelled pounding on the door. I sigh but get up to open the door. "What do you want" I ask quietly. Blaise and Theo are both standing behind him looking confused.  "I have a surprise for you three" he replies.

I decide to go see what he wants so I follow the three of them down the stairs. He brings us into the library. "Since you guys were born into such cowards for parents I decided I was going to fix that" the dark lord says. We look at him curiously. "I decided to adopt you three" he says. We stare at him in shock. He smirks "I guess I surprised you three, didn't I" he adds.

Then I do something that shocks the both of us. I hug him. He awkwardly hugs me back while patting my head. I pull back and go back to standing next to Blaise and Theo. "We should probably go tell everyone else" Theo says. We all nod and call a house meeting. Everyone comes to the library looking confused. "I have an announcement" the dark lord declares. "I have adopted Theo, Blaise, and Hermione." There are shocked looks all around. "Surprise" Blaise says meekly.

"While we are all together we have another announcement" Lucius says. Everyone turns to them."I'm pregnant" Narcissa says. "Wait but that means... ewwww" Draco exclaims covering his ears. I laugh at his childishness. Tonks runs over to Narcissa. "How far along are you" she asks with a big smile. "three months" Narcissa answers. "What gender is it" GInny asks. "It's going to be a girl" she answers again. "I'm gonna have a sister" Draco says uncovering his ears. Narcissa nods. He gets a gigantic smile and does a happy dance.

Slowly everyone disperses after all the good news had been delivered. Except for the dark lord, Blaise, Theo, and I. "Are we aloud to call you dad" Blaise bursts out. "The dark lord looks surprised at the question. "I guess if you want to" he answers. "Thank you dad" Blaise replies. I think I see a faint smile make its way onto his face.

At dinner that night everyone is in a good mood. The girls are talking about baby stuff while the guys talk about battle strategies. You know normal dinner table talk. The twins are absent, I don't know why until I hear a big boom come from upstairs. Ginny and I simultaneously groan. "What was that" Narcissa exclaims. "The twins are testing products" I explain. She nods in realization and we go back to baby talk.

A few minutes later the twins walk into the dining room. I can't contain my laughter when I see both of their eyebrows had been burnt  off. "Shut up Hermione" they grumble when they hear my laughs. Eventually my laughter dies down and dinner goes back to normal. We all eat and when we are finished we all go our separate ways.

I"m about to go to sleep when there is a knock on my door. "I just wanted to tell you goodnight Hermione" the dark lord says standing by my door. I smile up to him "goodnight dad" I say before closing my door and climbing into bed. There may be an war on its way but I think everything is going to turn out okay.
