The Snow Spirit

Chapter 7

Sarah's Pov

We are about ten minutes from the hospital. You can't see it unless you were given permission by a higher up, like the council, Alpha, Beta, Or Delta. I had asked Nick the first fifteen minutes since it was too quite for my liking. He said that the previous Alpha had witches set up a barrier because their was to many attacks from rogues their.

A few minutes later and we are there. As soon as he stops I jumped out and head straight for the metal doors. Before I could open it, I was pulled back the same time a women and a man flung the door open ripping the doors off the hinges. The woman has brown hair and the man has blonde hair, both of their eyes are shining showing their wolves are about to come out. The women eyes is an electric blue while the man eyes are a blood red.

They start shifting and Nick stands in front of me getting in a protective stance. They stand their for a minute just staring at each other, I'm assuming they are mind linking. I took this moment to observe them. The male is a sandy colored wolf while the female is a chocolate brown color. It's clear the male has more strength than speed while the female is the opposite of that.

Clearly Nick lost the conversation since they both ferociously growled and started running to us. Nick quickly shifts shredding his close like the others and fight them off.

Nick is handling them quite well. That and the fact that they aren't trying to hurt him but they are trying to hurt me instead. Nick got the upper hand and launched the male into a nearby tree nocking him out and successfully pinned the female. Nick then pauses, and four wolves came out of no where in human form. I'm impressed Nick had taken them down in less than two minutes.

A man brown curly hair brought Nick a t-shirt and shorts. Nick shifted quickly and put them on as I diverted my eyes from him. " Who were they?" I asked. " They are the mother and father of the now late pack warriors leader." Nick said. "Oh" is all I could say. "Yeah, I did say to stay close." Nick said not meeting my eyes. I didn't answer, so Nick led me through the hospital to where Brandon and his sister is.

They were on the second floor so we took the elevator up and walked a bit more to their room. "I have somethings I have to go take care of." Nick said as he walked off and around the corner.

I debated if I should knock or just go in. I decided to just knock and walk in afterwards. As I walk in I see a girl with black hair and very pale on the bed. Next to the bed is a sleeping Brandon who has bags under his eyes and looks like he just got out of his grave. I closed the door very gentle to not disturb him and to the chair opposite to Brandon.

When I sit, Brandon suddenly jolts awake. When he saw his surroundings and saw where he is, he calms down and looks at me.

"Sarah your awake, how are you feeling." he said. " I'm fine, what about you?" I say. He sighs, " I'm fine, can you watch her while I go use the restroom and get something to eat." I nodded my head, yes, and watched him walk out the room. I noticed he is limping slightly.

"You can help her." a quite and gentle voice said. "Who said that?!?" I said into the room looking around. "You have the power to save them all." the voice said ignoring my previous question. "What powers, I can't help them by summoning a blizzard, in fact that would probably just kill them." I told the voice. "The powers of a goddess Sarah, use it." the voice said and then I felt a presence I never noticed was here leave. " What powers was it talking about I thought." I thought.

"Feel for it Sarah just like you would when using your ice powers but this time think about healing." a different voice said. " Who are you?" I asked. " I'm your owl, your four main shifts can now talk to you, isn't it great! Now I wouldn't want to brag but I'm the smarter one out of the four so if you have any questions just ask me." my owl said. " Oh go eat a mice you over grown rat if anything I'm smarter than you." a next voice said. "Ok, who are you?" " I'm your ferret nice to finally talk to you. Your wolf and bobcat will be able to talk to you soon. Because they are bigger it takes a while for their transitions to finish." my ferret said. "For your information, I'm no where close to the rat family, if anything you look like a giant rat you pipsqueak." my owl said.

They continued to fight which was honestly giving me a headache but they finally stopped when the girl on the bed started to spaz out. Blood starts to come out of her mouth. So, I started to think and feel for my powers. I felt a surge of power within me and I took hold of it. I then thought of it coming out healing everyone in the hospital and at the pack house. A bright light erupted from me, it was so bright I had to shield my eyes with my hands. When the light died down, I removed my hands to see the girl sitting up and starring at me.

Suddenly Brandon busted through the door with his mouth dropped and eyes wide. "How did you do that. Who are you?" the girl asked. Brandon came up to me and hugged me and then went to hug his sister. Brandon explained to his sister that I am his mate and that I received powers from the moon goddess which I didn't even know about. He continued to explain a bunch of things that I couldn't focus on. The world was spinning and I felt very drained. I faintly heard " Are you ok?" and "Baby, keep your eyes open.". I didn't realize that I was on the floor.

"Can we get a doctor in here!" someone yelled." There is a book about what you are my child. Read it and learn, their will be many challenges ahead of you but we will help you every step of the way. Now sleep my child." That was the last thing I heard before I closed my eyes and was consumed by the darkness. But instead of it all being black their was a door with light emitting from it. I walk towards it and stepped in. Where it led me surprised me.
