Danielle and Jason were the happiest couple ever. They were also madly in love. Today is their 2nd year anniversary. They have been dating since Danielle was a freshman in highschool. Many people will say they were made for each other. Although Danielle's best friend Shelby has thought otherwise. She is in love with Jason though she would never tell him or Danielle because it could ruin their relationship. She doesn't want to ruin it because all she wants is Danielle to be happy. Her and Danielle have been best friends since they were 3 years old. They have been through everything together, she doesn't want to ruin that. Right now Danielle and Jason are on a picnic date for their 2nd year anniversary.
"Oh Jason, everything looks so delicious! Did you make it all by yourself?" Danielle asks in such shock.
"Yes I did baby, and its all for us to share."
"Oh I love you Jason!"
"I love you too, babe!"
They sit at the top of a mountain and enjoy the food Jason made including Danielle's favorite, chocolate covered strawberries. As they are watching the sunset Jason is ready to give Danielle her gift.
"Danielle, this is something to symbolize my love for you. Throughout the past 2 years we have both been through a lot. With both of our parents getting divorced, my grandfathers sudden death, and your dog dying of cancer I just wanted to get you something to say that no matter what we go through I will always be there for you." Jason says and hands Danielle the box wrapped in gold wrapping paper. Danielle opens the box and finds a gorgeous silver necklace with a heart that has diamonds in the middle, and on the back of it says "true love".
"Oh my gosh Jason I absolutely love it! Its gorgeous! Can you put it on me?"
"Of course I will baby."
Danielle hands him the necklace and turns around for him to put it on. He clasps the necklace around her neck and she turns around and kisses him with so much love. They break from the kiss with their foreheads against each others.
"I love you so much Jason. I don't ever want to lose you."
"I love you too Danielle."
The snuggle up in each others arms and watch as the sun sets.
"Danielle its getting late we should probably get going I have one more surprise before I take you home." Jason says then realizes that his love has fallen asleep in his arms. For a moment he just stares at her beautiful sleeping face and thinks to him self. I can not mess this up. She is the best thing to ever happen to me.
"Baby, wake up its time to go to my last surprise before I take you home. Baby." Jason shakes her gently.
"I don't wanna go." She says sleepily.
"But we have to, just come on wake up I promise you are going to love this surprise." Jason urges her awake.
"Fine let's pack up and go."
They pack up and head to Jason's last surprise for the night.
"Ahhh! Oh my gosh! Its my favorite ice cream shop in the whole entire world! I love you so much!" Danielle screams almost bursting Jason's ear drums as they pull up to the little old ice cream shop in the town. Jason knew this was her favorite place in the world so he had to take her here on their anniversary.
"I love you too, now what to you want you can get anything because your my girl, and my girl deserves anything she wants."
"I want a vanilla milkshake with caramel drizzled on top with whip cream and sprinkles. Oh also a cherry on top. Please and thank you!" She says to the cashier and goes to find a table for us to sit at. Jason orders his and pays for the ice cream. He joins Danielle at the table she picked as they wait for their ice cream.
"Oh Jason what did I ever do to deserve a boyfriend as sweet and caring as you?"
"I don't know but whatever you did do I'm glad you did it because you are the best thing that has happened to me I'm the whole entire world I love you so much!" Jason says as their ice cream shows up at their table. They finish their ice cream and head to the car to go home.
The arrive at Danielle's house and Jason walks her to the the door. Danielle now lives with her mother since her parents divorced. Her mother and father used to fight a lot. Her father would go out get drunk and come home to start abusing her mother. Finally one day her mom got sick of it and went to an attorney to get divorce papers. Her father signed the divorce papers and that was that he disappeared and has never talked to Danielle or her mother since. Jason and Danielle kiss one last time before Jason leaves. Danielle enters her house and goes straight to sleep thinking about the wonderful day she has had.
