It's been 2 years since I lost Hanna.

I can still remember her calling for help, even after I was dropped off the cliff. I looked down at my wrists. The scratches were still there from when they first put handcuffs on me after I met them. I laid back on the grassy side of the hill, looking at the pastel blue colored sky, waiting for I don't how long for all of this to be over.

I mean seriously! They've been arguing for over an hour now, we need to get moving. I walked down the rest of the hill, and into a valley that held my two skeletal saviors. As I walked closer to the bickering siblings, the quieter I became. It's not that they're mean, well one of them isn't, but I still can't help but feel anxious around them. After all they were part if the Exiled.

"Gaster, when are we going to get moving again?" I tugged on the older one's black leather jacket trying to get his attention, but he didn't notice. I sighed and walked back to the hill mumbling how stupid the disagreement was and how stupid it was stop in an open field. I knew if we stayed here any longer, we'd be found and captured. Gaster lifted me off the ground and held me by my shirt to his eye level. His golden eye was ablaze with the same color smoke emitting from it while his other eye socket was completely black.
"What did you just say to me you little shit?"

That face. That face he made when he's ticked has yet to fail to petrify me. Or anyone one else for that matter.

And his voice....

His voice was deep.
Demanding.
Terrifying.
Yet soothing.

"G, relax. Y/n just wanted to ask you a question. No need to get hostile."
I looked at the younger brother, Ink, with fearful but hopeful eyes. He always stood up for me, no matter what. However, he always had hell to play for afterward. Therefore we both knew, by standing up for me, what'll happen next.

Gaster let go of my shirt, leaving me to fall on my ass. It's not like my legs would be of much use to me now anyway though. I couldn't feel them, they were numb with fear. I couldn't move breathe, or utter a single sound. I was paralyzed from fear and dismay. The only thing I could do was was turn my head away and shut my eyes. I knew that hearing the hard, agonizing blows was traumatizing enough. I couldn't bring myself to watch, not this time.

Or ever again.
