It was dark and I felt so cold. It took me a few moments to realize I was laying down and it's not actually dark, my eyes are just closed.

My head was throbbing in a perfect beat. I open my eyes, only to squeeze them shut due to the bright lights. I groan out, frustrated. I put my hand to my head and tried to re-open my eyes.

Dark beautiful green eyes were staring at me really close to my face. I let out a squeak, startled.

They guy from history? What is he doing here? Where is here? What happened?

I took a quick look around the room and it looked like a plain old room. White walls, white cabinet, and a blue bench like bed that I was laying on. "What happened?" I asked with the raspy voice.

Aiden rushed to get me a cup of water and handed it to me. "Thank you." I chugged it, not realizing how dry my throat really was. "What happened," I repeated. He paused for a split second before sitting next to me. "You passed out."

Confusion hit me. What the hell? When? How? So many questions were floating around in my head.

"How and why?"

"I don't exactly know how," he said giving me a sheepish half smile.

"I was eating an apple." Aiden looked at me like I was crazy. "What?"

"You grab me? Right?" I asked him in a questioning way.

"No, no! Not me, Damien did. We noticed you looked freaked out after so he let you go, the next thing we know, you were on the floor," he rushed out trying to defend himself.

Of course I would pass out, God why am I so freaking weak. I am remember his tight grip on my upper arm. I was suffering from an anxiety attack because he wouldn't let me go. This is so embarrassing. Ugh!

"Where are we," I asked

"We're in the nurses office, Damian had to leave for football practice, but he told me to say sorry for him."

Before I had a chance to respond, the school nurse walked in. "Hi sweetheart! How are you feeling?" She chirped out loudly.

"I have a raging headache," I said in a low small voice.

"I'm sorry. I can't give you medicine because your school medical card says so. I did try to call your mom too but she didn't answer."

My eyes widen with fear. Are you kidding me! I'm dead! Samantha's going to bury me alive. It's Monday and every Monday she has a meeting.

I take a shaky breath, "okay," I mumbled. "I advise you not to be alone for about an hour or two, just in case anything happens," she said looking at Aiden expectantly. "Oh no, it's fine. I can have my sister watch me," I said in a rush.

I don't even know Aiden, besides I don't want to burden him with all my problems. I go to sit up but as soon as I do nausea hits me.

"Can you call your sister to come and pick you up," the nurse asked.

"I don't have a phone and I don't know her number," my face turning red from embarrassment.

"Oh, well maybe Aiden can watch you? Would you mind?" Just as Aiden was about to respond I cut him off, "No! It's fine, I'll be okay, I promise," I don't think the nurse is catching on to the fact that I don't want to burden Aiden with all my problems and keeps pushing him on to me.

"I can't forced you to leave with him, I just highly recommend it. But overall, the choice is yours."

I sat up slowly, making sure I don't get nauseous this time and got out of bed.

"Thank you for everything, both of you"

I smiled at them and left the office. As I was walking down the school halls I heard a voice, "Hey Claire! Wait up!"
I turned to see Aiden lightly jogging towards me. I continue walking not bothering stop this time.

Once he reached me he gave me a look of disbelief, "I know you heard me, why didn't you wait?"

"Because."

"Because... What?"

"I don't know you." I said in an obvious tone. He rolled his eyes and ignored me.

"How are you getting home?" He asked. "I'm walking like I always do, I don't live far."

"No," He said

"What do you mean no? I'm walking home."

"No."

"Yes."

"No, I'm going to give you a ride home."

"No, seriously it's fine, I'll be home before you know it," I stated.

"Come on, you just passed out not even 20 minutes ago, so stop being stubborn and let me drive you home." I've been in worst situation, but I wasn't going to tell him that.

"Okay fine, you make a good point," I said finally giving up.

"I know," he said cockily.
