Episode 20

You decide to let it go and continue to live life the way it is...

~~A year later~~

You and Sean stopped talking completely. You continued to see him in class, at rehearsals, even on jobs. But no words were exchanged, just awkward eye contact. Him and Maddie are really happy together...you figured, why should you end his happiness? But then you start to realize he was happier with you...

~~Another year goes by~~

It's November, you just turned 16. Sean is about to turn 17. Him and Maddie are still a happy couple. But you look like a wreck. You've become antisocial...shut everyone out. You don't like talking to anyone really anymore. You have layered side bangs now to cover your face. You wear nothing but hoodies and dad caps to hide your feelings. You see him everywhere...what's worse...you see him everywhere with her.0

Today you decide to go to Willdabeast's class at Millennium. You walk in and see that Vivien and Gabe are displaying their new relationship to everyone. Kennadi and Jenna walk up to you.
Kennadi: Hey (y/n)...we haven't talked in a while
You:...yeah...I don't really talk to anyone
Jenna: Do you need a shoulder to cry on? Mines open! Ever since Viv left me😒...

Vivien started becoming overly protective of Gabe when they started dating so she had to cut out all of the people who could potentially steal him away from her. Even though it's sad, Jenna became the nicest person ever. It's as if Vivien was the one who corrupted her.

You: thanks but I'm fine.
Kennadi: No you're not.
You: What are you talking about.
Kennadi: You keep getting more and more depressed every year ever since you broke up with Sean. Let me repeat YOU...because you were the one who did it.
You: I had to.
Jenna: Why?
You: Because if I didn't Maddie was going to trash talk me on Instagram and twitter and everything...I mean how do I compete with 8.5 million of her little followers...
Jenna: oh wow...this is actually really sad😕
You: See what would you have done...
Jenna: Did you tell him??! C'mon you had to have told him!!😰:(((((((
Thoughts:
wow jenna gets really emotional with this stuff haha.
You: I tried but he wouldn't listen to me and I guess i thought at the time that he would rather be with her anyways.
Jenna: YOU HAVE TO TELL HIM
Kennadi: Calm down jenna! ...but ya you need to tell him.
You: Alright...I guess I'll tell him.

As if on cue Sean walked in. Immediately you try to avoid him but kennadi turned you around and pushes you right into him.

You: OH MY GOSH IM SO SORRY
Sean: Haha it's cool, don't worry about it.
You two stood there for a good minute just awkwardly existing in front of each other.
Sean: So got any plans for tomorrow?
You: ....me?
Sean: Yes you haha oh my gosh we aren't strangers...I know it's been two years and we haven't exactly been speaking but I miss having you around! Ya know, as a friend.
Thoughts:
Ouch. That hurt. He said "as a friend"
You moved your bangs out of the way but then covered your face again.
Sean: Wow your hair is kinda covering your whole face...

He starts moving his hand toward your face and tries to swipe your hair out of the way. You start blushing and immediately grab his hand and pull it away from your face. He looks at you disappointed and you look away embarrassed.

You: Sorry...I haven't been social lately...
Sean: really? You're the most social person I know tho.
You: Used to be...I went to a dark place these past couple years and....
Sean: you mean after we broke up?
You:....I don't have plans tomorrow why.
Sean: you didn't answer my question.
You: what's going on tomorrow?
Sean: you're the one who broke up with me!
You: Sean please...
Sean: No I'm tired of you blaming others for your mistakes.

Your immediate reaction is to walk away from the situation but he grabs your arm:

Sean: Tell me why you did it.
You: BECAUSE OF MADDIE.
Sean: I can't believe you...you are still jealous of her
You: SHE TOLD ME TO BREAK UP WITH YOU OR SHE WOULD RUIN MY LIFE FOREVER
Sean: What the fuck that's a load of bull
You: SEE YOU NEVER LISTEN TO ME
Sean: I'm trying to but you aren't explaining

You explained your Maddie situation and about the whole social media thing.

Sean: ...so why didn't you tell me this earlier...
You: in fear that she still might do something to me, plus you looked happier than ever with her.
Sean: But what about us? It shouldn't matter what other people think of you...
You: She would have started picking on you too, and it would look awful if you were dating the most hated girl in the world! That's what Maddie would have done...but all that aside I didn't want to get in the way of your happiness.
Sean: and this all caused your downward spiral for the past two years?
You: maybe...

Sean sighs and then brings you in for a hug, but alas, you let go.

Sean: what's wrong?
You: is she here???
Sean: no but, she's making you live in fear!
You: S-sorry I r-really can't be seen talking to you right now Sean! Bye.
Sean: (Y/N)! Wait!!

You run to the bathroom and lock yourself in their for the remainder of class. Afterwards you run out to find Kennadi and Jenna to-

OWWWW...who?¿

Gabe: Hey watch where you're going!
You: sorry...it's the bangs.

You move your hair out of the way.

Gabe: (Y/N)? I'm so sorry! I didn't even recognize you...
You: It's f-fine.
Gabe: Why are you stuttering?
You: I-I really need to go find Kennadi and J-Jenna
Gabe: Is everything okay??? I can help you.
Vivien: Uh no you can't. Babe we need to go like...right now.
Gabe: Can you just wait?
Vivien: We have to catch our movie! It starts in ten minutes!!
Gabe: Viv, this is important.
You: No, I can find themself. I just really need to get out of here...so please. go to your movie.

Gabe grabs your arm and starts walking out to the back parking lot to find Kennadi and Jenna. You two find them but there's a third person with them.

Gabe: Kennadi! Jenna! KenJen!
Jenna: what?
Gabe: i don't know! I combined your names and thought it was cool- you know what nevermind!
Kennadi: Haha k.
Gabe: Anyways, (y/n) was looking for you two but don't know why. I think she's trying to avoid someone.
Sean: Oh she's trying to avoid me.

You panic and start fast walking away. But gabe turns you around and brings you back to the group.

Gabe: Ohhhh...well here you go.
Sean: (y/n) look I'm going to break up with her
You: No don't do that
Sean: Why not? I'm going to.
You: If I hadn't said anything you two would be fine.
Sean: ...
