You: fine...
Him: What?
You: I'll break up with Sean.
Him: Really?
You: yeah josh.
Him: I mean you're really just going to-
You: AHA I KNEW IT
Him: knew what?
You: It's you...josh.
Him: Haha yeah it's me.
You: So you're going back to New Jersey?
Him: Trying to at least...so why break up with Sean.
You: I don't know...I should just let him go right?
Him: Not if you like him.
You: Okay josh, you literally just told me to break up with him.
Him: Yeah but only because I need the money, but if I were you and making my decision from the heart I would NOT break up with Sean.
You: Wow had no idea you have a bromance with Sean.
Him: Ha.Ha. Very funny, but I'm serious.
You:...
Him: but it's up to you...I'll take you to him right now.

Josh takes you to Sean who is at his house. You walk up to the door and peek through the window next to the door to see if he's home. You see him sitting on the couch with... Maddie Ziegler.

You: Oh...it's her.
Josh: Yeah it's Maddie.
You: Wow this hurts a lot more than I thought it would...
You take a deep breath and knock on the door. Josh is waiting behind a bush eavesdropping on everything. The door opens.
Sean: *Gasp* (y/n) we've been worried about you!
He gives you a huge hug, but you slip out of it.
You: Sean...we need to talk.
Sean: Oh okay
You: Hi Maddie...
She gives you a fake grin and waves but doesn't verbally acknowledge your existence.
Sean: Oh my gosh if it's about Maddie, don't worry we are just friends!
A tear starts running down your cheek.
You: I...*gulp*...uh- Sean I'm-
Sean: You're shaking...do you want to talk outside?
You: Yeah...
You go outside, still close to the house but far enough so Maddie can't hear.
You: I can't do this anymore
Sean: Do what?
You: us...
Sean: What?
You: Sean... Maddie
Sean: I can't believe this
You: huh?
Sean: how jealous you are being!
You: No Sean. I can explain-
Sean: I swear to you there's nothing going on
You: Sean stop I don't want a repeat of what happened with Gabe and Lexee.
Sean: She's not like that though.
You: I'm gonna stop you right now...We...are...over. This is over.
Sean: ....can you at least tell me why?
More tears are streaming down your face.
You:  eventually...
You walk off and Sean walks back into his house. You and josh decide to peek through the window again and see Maddie comforting Sean. To your surprise, she kisses him. This made your heart sank. He put his arm around her and they continued to watch tv on the couch. He got over you so fast. Wow. You really meant nothing to him.
Josh: Hey...you okay?
You: yeah, I'll be fine...

A couple months later Maddie and Sean continue to display their relationship on all of social media. You see Sean at every dance class but you two never talk. It's as if he's avoiding you. As if you did something terrible. You broke up with him, but you had to or she was gonna make your life a living nightmare. Should you tell Sean what really happened and why you broke up with him? Or just continue living life the way it is?
