Kaito sniffed pitifully trying to cover up his cries. He really missed Saguru. Like really really missed him.

He wished Saguru is here to comfort Kaito but no... he left. He had left to England. Without saying 'goodbye' verbally to Kaito. Left Kaito with only a note behind.

It's been a year and Kaito is not getting any better. Aoko is very worried about his childhood friend. Shinichi is also concern about his recently known toddler playmate. With that knowledge, Shinichi and Kaito grew more closer than before.

Sibling bonding.

Shinichi and Aoko had tried to make Saguru come back to Kaito but he refused, saying that Kaito will be miserable with him by his side. Well, the thing is... Kaito is already miserable WITHOUT Saguru by his side.

"Kaito..." Shinichi called, opening the door silently, walking towards the depressed phantom thief.

"Do you want to eat? We're having family lunch together and your mom is coming as well. Are you coming? If you're not, then I won't too." Shinichi spoke softly to Kaito's ear.

Kaito peered slowly to looked at Shinichi from under the blanket. "Do you want to go, Shin-chan?" Kaito asked timidly but voice soft as a pillow. Shinichi chuckled and glomped his beloved baby brother under the bundle of blanket, knowing how much Kaito loves to be glomped. He sighed in happiness.

"If you don't go, then I won't. I'll keep you company at home. If you go, then I'll go with you. Whichever you choose. Do you want to?" Shinichi kissed Kaito's forehead.

"You haven't eat anything ever since breakfast afterall. You're stuffing yourself with chocolates and it's not healthy, you know. You have to eat more healthy food. You'll get diabetes one day if you don't stop." Shinichi ranted.

Kaito laughed softly. "Alright, Shin-chan. I'll go. Thank you." Kaito hugged his favourite even-though-adopted brother.

"Well, you could pass on as my twin. Although I am more mature, therefore I am older. And my birthday comes first anyway. Besides," Shinichi said, as if sensing Kaito's thought, sat up, looking at his so-called twin. "We grew fonder and more closer than before. We already have a silent understanding knowledge as a detective and a thief under the moonlight. What makes it any different if I think of you as my younger brother anyway?"

Kaito smiled, sitting up as well. "True. Furthermore that our father had known each other as well and that your mother was my father's student. And that our moms are bestfriend?" Shinichi laughed like a bell ringing.

"True. We are meant to be together from the start afterall." Shinichi teased.

"Toddler playmate." Kaito said, shaking his head as he walked to the bathroom to take a bath. Shinichi chuckled fondly and went to change his clothes.

After a few moments, Kaito finished taking his shower and stopped his track as he wondered about something. "Shin-chan! Casual or formal?!"

"Formal, Kai!" Shinichi yelled somewhere from downstairs. Kaito smiled and turned to look for his formal clothes.

After a while, they were done. "You look good, Shin-chan." Kaito complimented, conjure a blue rose for his beloved detective of a brother. "For my lovely and caring big brother." Shinichi took it and tucked it in his suit's breast pocket.
