A Change of Heart -Jack

He stole my heart the day we got together. I was so happy that he chose me, the emo lonely kid over all the girls in the school. Dante was the only one who saw me for me. When he was around I went from my dark gloom to a happy ray of sunshine...but that was then and that's in the past. He has been acting strange lately. Instead of being like his usual self, cheerful charming football player, he is starting to push people away from himself and me. Everyone at school thinks I am the one who caused this change in him but I swear it wasn't me. I will do what ever it takes to get him out of this and back to his old self.

Those were my thoughts a month ago. Dante has been missing that long. He went home like normal after school but then he never came back. His mother is starting to lose all hope and doesn't want to lose her only family left. I just want to see him smile again, and be back here with me and his mother. Hopefully I can figure out what happened to him soon because everyone is starting to lose hope. Now is the task of surviving another day at school before I go searching for Dante again.

Made it back alive but I better drop off my stuff at home and take the mail inside or dad will be furious with me. Just one envelope but no address just my name written on it in...Dante's hand writing. I quickly ripped it open to find a message specifically just for me to read.

~Hi... I miss you and can you come get me? My car broke down near the old factory near the woods. Please come get me. I'm sorry I left without saying a word. Look I'll explain everything okay just come to the factory.                              Love Dante~

This can't be real can it? Only one way to find out. I'm going to that factory and no one can stop me. Hopefully he is safe and just needs me to pick him up. 

It took me twenty-five minutes to find the factory. He failed to mention that it was the abandoned factory across the bridge, but I see his car so I know he is here.

"Dante? Where are you?" I yelled out to him.

"Over here," he yelled from inside the factory.

I went inside to find him but it was pitch black in there, I couldn't see anything. Then I heard something charge at me. I ended up running out of the building and into the woods to try and escape it. In the end I fell down a steep hill and snapped my leg on the rocks at the bottom. Then I saw what was chasing me, it was Dante.

"Now Jack why were you running from me?" he all but mocked.

"Dante what are you doing? You're scaring me."

"And scared you should be."

"Dante..."

"No Dante is dead. The darkness in my heart has changed me but don't worry you will join me soon Jack."

"What do you mean? Dante cut it out!" I yelled as he walked up to me.

"Don't worry it only hurts for a minute," and with that he shoved his hand through my chest and grabbed my heart. Then I blacked out.

Waking up according to my phone an hour later from when I arrived at the factory. I look up and see Dante smiling at me.

"Thanks Dante for changing my weak heart for a new stronger darker heart."

"No Jack thank you. You put me in the darkness when I fell for you."

After helping me to my car he drove us back home, where we destroyed it. How ever I see the darkness in your heart. Careful you might end up like us.
