I travelled on the train, slowing from over 100mph. My journey on the train was almost over, but my adventure was just beginning. I clutched my backpack to my chest as I took deep breaths. I'd been offered a job in the English capital of London. This job was bigger than big. I was going to work at the international radio station, Radio 1. I took my main bag from the bag rack and headed for the underground through the bustle of people.
As I left the musical, yet stinking, underground by climbing the stairs, I looked up to the murky sky as it was beginning to darken in preperation for the night. In my distctracted state, I collided into two boys.
"Oh! I'm so sorry!" I dropped my baggage in shock on the floor and bent down to pick up some recording equipment from the dirty London pavement.
"It's fine. In fact, I'm probably partly to blame so I'm sorry, here, let me help you." The younger looking boy bent down to help me. I looked at him and he looked back, smiling brightly. He had, somewhat, angelic features. Actually, he was familiar. Chocolate brown eyes that just melted your heart, lovely brown hair swooped to the side and a tanned skin tone.
"Can I ask you a really silly question?" I asked quietly, picking up my bag and slinging it over my shoulder. He didn't answer, just nodding as if he had suddenly gone shy. He stood up and I realised that he was lot taller than me.
"Are you two Dan and Phil?" I asked the twosome curiously. The older looking boy nodded at me as if answering for both of them.
"Indeed. I'm Phil." He held his hand out and I shook it in awe. Phil Lester was touching my hand. No one could see the fangirl in my head dancing and screaming with happiness.
"And I bet you can guess that's Dan." He pointed as Dan shrugged and I nodded.
"So, what's your name?" Dan asked quietly. I smiled at his cute shyness.
"I'm Lauren. I do musical stuff with my friends and ut it on youtube." I shrug.
"Are you, perhaps, Laurenissometimesmusical?" Phil asked, smiling as Dan had once before. I nodded, spellbound by the fact that he'd even heard of me.
"All I can say is that you're crazy talented!" Phil commented and I smiled at the compliment.
"Thanks." I shrugged slightly.
"How come you're in London?"
"I just got a job at at Radio 1. I have my own show and I can edit it all myself." I buried my mouth into my hoodie so my words were slightly muffled. I hated seeming like a bragger. Dan, unfortunately, heard me though.
"That sounds awesome! Since we're gonna be working together and seeing each other around, fancy hanging out tonight? I mean, after you've dropped your stuff off." Dan chipped in happily before going quiet again. I nodded with, what I'm guessing by their faces, a mammoth grin on my face.
"I'd love to!" I said a little too loudly. I felt myself blush but the pair laughed it off. This was going to be the start of something beautiful.
