5 months later-
I take a deep breath. Today is the day my dad gets remarried. Of course I'm not the happiest about this situation I'm in.

But I gave up fighting it about 2 months ago. So here I am today finishing up my makeup for my dad and Lisa's wedding.

The only way I can make it through this day is with Sammy. I told my dad if Sammy couldn't come then I wouldn't ether. So my dad had no choice but to invite him.

"You almost ready" Sammy asked me. I finished applying my lipstick. "Yep" I replied. Sam took my hand and walked me out into the lobby of the church. The guests were sitting in the designated area. The bridesmaids and grooms men were all finishing up in the dressing rooms. Me and Sammy were the first ones finished so we left the room.

"I don't like this" I say shaking my head at this situation. "I know you don't like this but your dad is happy and that's all that should matter at this point in time". A tear slipped out of my eye I sighed wiping it away quickly.

Sammy didn't say anything he just pulled me into a hug and rubbed my back. We slowly rocked back and forth.

"Excuse me" I heard a guy voice behind me. I let go of Sammy and turn around. It was Ethan. "What" I ask as nicely as I can. "My mom wants to see you" he informs me. I nod my head in response.

I turn back around and look at Sammy. "I'll be right back" I tell him. He smiles at me signaling me to go see Lisa.

I walk away from the two boys and into the dressing room. "Hey" I say greeting Lisa. "Hey I wanted to talk to you before the wedding started" she says. What do you want to talk about" I question. "I know you always were hesitant about your father and I's relationship".

I nodded my head silently agreeing with what she said. "I just want you to know that I love you and your one of my kids now and I'll treat you just like I treat Ethan, Grayson, and Cameron" she said with tears of joy in her eyes.

"And I know I can't replace your real mom but I just want you to know that I care about you so much" she chokes out. I take a deep breath and give her a hug. She hugs back instantly.

"I hope your really happy with my dad because I know he loves you so much" I say. "I love him to and couldn't picture myself with anyone else"she explains.
