The hot California sun was setting and a cool breeze came in. The waves picked up which meant it was the perfect time to surf.

I wasn't the best at suffering but my boyfriend Ethan and his brother Grayson where teaching me.

"Came on let's go in" Ethan said running towards the water. Grayson followed closely behind. I examined the view that was in front of me.

Gorgeous sunset, the love of my life and best friend. It couldn't get better. I grabbed my bored and ran into the water.

I sat on my bored my feet dangled in the water. Which kinda made me nervous because a lot of shark attacks happen like that but I'm getting off topic. I was waiting for the perfect wave to stand up and ride it.

"Look a big ones coming" Grayson called. Me all focused on it and starting getting ready into position. The wave came and we quickly stood up.

Instead of riding it life Ethan and Grayson I fell back into the water. My bored was starting to drag be down cause it to get stuck on rocks. I was trying to take my ankle bad off so I could resurface.

I was running out of air and I couldn't get unstuck. My eyes started to close as water filled my lungs. I heard screaming but I was to weak to open my eyes.

I felt myself get dragged up and placed on the wet sand. Pushing on my chest and mouth to mouth resuscitation continued until I opened my eyes and threw up water. I coughed vigorously. I was so thankful to be alive.

I looked to see who saved me and it was none other then Ethan. "I was so worried I thought you were gonna die Christina" Ethan pulled me into a hug. I hugged back tightly. "Thank you for saving me.

I look over to see a freaked out and worried Grayson. I reassured him I was ok. I would most likely not be back surfing in a while.
