Ally

"Time to come out Ally! Jonathan is here to take you to school" Irene's echoing voice could be heard coming from the other side of the hall.

"I'm coming" Ally yelled back as she frantically scrambled out of bed and grabbed a grey sweater, maroon shorts, black tights, and her favorite brown ankle boots. If your going to be late might as well be fashionable to make up for it. After being brushed out her hair was not that bad but it was not presentable enough for her. It's okay Jonathan always has a beanie in his car so she will just steal his.

"Ally?" Her mother asked slowly entering the room, she expected her daughter to be cleaning her room, not  struggling to put on a boot. Ally hadn't heard Irene enter, so she was still muttering curse words at the shoe.

A laugh brought her back to reality causing her to look around for the source of the sound. Then spotting her mom laughing at her causing her to blush. "Whats up mom?"

"Nothing much honey, I just fed your boyfriend one of my delicious breakfasts and I came to see what all the ruckus was, then I see you fighting with your boot. Did you sleep in that late?" Irene was really trying to keep a straight face as she spoke to her daughter.

"Just a bit, I woke up like when you called me. Well I think I'm ready, did you make me a burrito?" Ally asked getting up from her bed.

"You know I did, now hurry your butt or else im going to need to talk to your boyfriend about embarrassing pictures." Irene winked and walked out of the room.

Ally let out a smile as soon as her mom left the room, she wouldn't admit it but its almost like her and her mother were sisters. They got along really well and her mom looked no older than 30. Shaking her head she grabbed her black backpack and walked downstairs. "Ready to go babe?" She asked putting her arms around Jonathan.

"I mean I guess, your mom and I were talking about recipes and I really want to hear the secret oatmeal cookie one." Jonathan asked quickly kissing his girlfriends cheek and looking back at her mother, "tell me your secrets!"

Irene laughed "Well as much as I like to talk about cooking, I can't keep you lovebirds from school, so until next time, bye Jonathan." Standing up, she walked over to the kitchen and began washing dishes. Ally laughed a little seeing her boyfriends offended face. "Come on Jon, we can't be late, well not again at least." She whispered that last bit not trying to reveal to her mom that the two had decided they wanted food instead of education earlier that week so they missed morning classes.

Jonathan grinned and nodded his head, "Fine, Bye Irene, thanks for the breakfast I wish my father cooked half as good as you did. And mark my words I will be getting that recipe!" He put his plate in the sink and walked over to Ally grabbing her hand. "Let's go make sure we have a future!" He shouted in a voice laced with mock determination. Ally shook her head but nevertheless she followed behind her boyfriend, why she liked the dork she didn't know.

Lizzie

"Bye Kelly have fun at school!" Lizzie bent down and hugged her little sister one more time. "Remember be a good girl. Do not take that other girl Amber's lunchable anymore. That's being mean."

Kelly looked up with wide eyes, "I did not take Amber's lunchable! I took her cookie!"

Lizzie shook her head, kneeling down to be at her sisters height. "That still isn't right. Why did you take her cookie?"

"Cause it looked good."

"Really Kelly? You can't be taking other kids lunch, you have your own. Also mean kids who take other peoples lunch get no desserts after dinner" Lizzie put her hand up to Kelly's ear as if she was letting out a big secret. She knew it was a long shot but she had to try.

It seemed to work well enough. Kelly's looked wider than before and she covered her mouth. "Really? I no be mean anymore. Not to Amber or no one." She whispered to her big sister. "Am I a good girl now?" She asked with somewhat pleading eyes.

Lizzie grinned, "You're only a good girl if you prove it. Can you do that? Can you show me you're not going to be mean?" Kelly nodded quickly. She really liked dessert, not only because it was sweet and yummy but because she always got to mess around with her brother, Austin.

"Okay well I need to go to school now, Kelly can I have one more hug for the road?" Lizzie asked looking up from her watch.

Kelly gave her a goofy grin and hugged Lizzie tightly. After the hug ended she waved bye to her sister and began to walk over to her classroom cubby but before she could Lizzie called her again.

"Hang on Kelly I wanna ask you something" Lizzie whispered. Her younger sister nodded and got closer.

Lizzie cracked a smile. "Was the cookie good?"

Kelly's smile widened and she nodded with a toothy smile. She cupped her hand over Lizzie's ear and whispered.

"It was chocolate chip"

The two girls grinned and finally got up. With one more wave and hug, they went their separate ways.

Lizzie hopped back into her small car and began the drive back to school, she noticed the sky beginning to get cloudy and she grinned. If it rained, it may just be one of the best Friday's ever.

After an hour she saw the school ahead and pulled into the lot. Checking the time to make sure she wasn't late she slipped her phone into her back pocket and decided that she may have time to go and see if her friend Alex was at the library. Alex always went to go help out the librarian sort books, though Lizzie knew that those two never got along. She didn't understand why Alex bothered but for some reason that boy always went there and she always met up with him.

Alex worked with Lizzie at Quest
and he usually worked the register while she worked mainly worked the prize counter. Their manager often commented that the two should date cause "they just looked so cute together". But Lizzie prefered Alex to be a friend, she saw him as a friend only. The two were introverts and they hung out a lot they had about 2 other friends but that's pretty much it.

Ally

"Jonathan, I don't want to go to the damn library." Ally whined as she did her boyfriend help her sweater and pulled along with him up the outside stairs.

"Oh come on lazy, I just need to grab a couple books for me and the guys, our English teacher needs our group to have the same book."

"Ugh does that mean I'm going have to stand around and help you find the same damn book 4 times?" Jonathan shook his at her.

"Yeah cause I like doing extra work" he rolled his eyes that Ally gave a look at, "I called the librarian earlier and she has the books ready for me to pick up when I get there.
