Makoto Pov

"Father ! Our ancestors is really strong but i want to be a great swordsman like Nagakura Toushiro."

"Why is the reason , Makoto?"

"Because he was kind and strong!"

That is the reason i idolize him. After i meet the person himself i was thrill and excited. He is indeed a kind and strong person just like the history say.

But still why all those people call him demon? I couldn't understand why?

Even Homura say that about him.

"Blockheads how dare he left me after all this time he promised to stay with me.."

Makoto stomp angrily while the townspeople look at him like he was some crazy person that talk to himself.

"He say i can do whatever i want? Alright i will! Just you see!"

Makoto notice that he been watch by the crowd so he walk away while hiding his face.

"I'm exhausted...owner please give me a tea and some sweet."

Makoto sit while watching the crowd that busy with their own live.

"Here you go , long time no see Ryoma! Where have you been ? You always come to the town for some western good and their knowledge why you rarely visit the town these day?"

The owner tap Makoto shoulder and Makoto just play along so he don't suspect anything.

"Owner...by any chance do you know where is the emperor castle?"

The owner look at me with confused eyes but he still tell me where the location is. After paying i head to the castle and hope that Toushiro is in there.

There a few guard that guarding the entrance gate. They look stern and vicious. Makoto gulp down his nervous feeling and walk to the guard with confidence face.

"Hold there citizens you are not allowed to set foot here."

The leader guard point his sword to me and i bow down my head to them.

"Excuse my intruding self but i come here to meet the emperor regarding about my fellow friend Nagakura Toushiro."

The guard look at me with suspicious face . The leader send one of his man to inform the emperor. After a minute wait the guy come back and tell his leader that the emperor wish to meet me.

"You may enter and don't speak until the emperor order to."

I bow my head as a sign i understand. The leader guard escort me there and i was shock to see the emperor. He was young maybe younger than me.

"I was informed that you are friend with Nagakura Toushiro. Tell me your name samurai.."

I bow down my head and look up to him.

"Yes my lord, my name is Sakata Ryoma. I am a third rate samurai that been rise by the farmer family."

He look amused and order the guard to leave me and him alone. When the door closed he order me to follow him and i walk slowly behind him. We arrived in a big secret room and he sit casually in front of me.

"Ryoma right? Drop the formality and sit here i will make some tea for you."

He humming and make the tea. I awkwardly sit down and watch him preparing the tea and some sweet.

"Urm..my lord.. i come here to find my friend Nagakura Toushiro...is he here by any chance?"

He served the tea and flick my forehead. I hiss in pain and look up to him with confused face.
