I think this would be good as Lennstarr or Lennison.

So John gets amnesia, how he gets it is up to the writer. And Yoko would feed him lies about how much he loved her. Not knowing that this isn't true, John belives.

But in reality, he was madly in love with and in a relationship with Ringo/George.

Ringo/George tries to remind John, from subtle gestures to screaming at the top of his lungs to the world how much he loves him. John, of course, doesn't know and therefore doesn't belive and thinks Ringo/George is crazy.

There would also be flashbacks scattered throughout the chapters of John and Ringo/George showing how much they loved each other.

This would be slow-burn, John finally remembering everything when Ringo/George does something that jogs his memory. This is another writer's decision, how he remembers i mean. (i.e. Kissing John, losing it completely and hitting him over the head with something, et cetera)

(For this example I'm using Ringo, but it can be switched for George if you desire)

"John, just listen to me!" Ringo yelled after him.

"What's there to talk about, Starr?" John finally acknowledged the drummer. He frowned down at him as he approached. Ringo reached up and cupped John's face, pulling him down to his chest.

"Ringo, what the fuck are you-"

"Shut up for once and listen." Ringo cut him off, pressing John's ear against his chest.

"Do you even remember the sound of my heart? Every night you fell asleep to the sound of it. Sometimes it was the only thing that calmed you down. You said yourself that the thump of me heart was the most beautiful thing you've ever heard... Please John, remember that my heart only beats for you." Ringo was on the verge of tears as he stroked the hair of the man who loved him so... yet no longer remembers.

"This is ridiculous." John pulled out of Ringo's grasp. "You're a right loon, you are. And I ain't no fairy. I have to go find Yoko." He stormed off. Leaving Ringo to let his emotions spill from his, once happy, eyes.
