Prologue

(((Book 3 of my AA/BVB fanfic series. Can't believe it's got this far! o-o last book I swear xD just couldn't let it end.)))

I almost screamed when Ben and I got out of the car in front of the apartment. Ella and Jake stepped out with Hazel. I was so happy to be home after a long week away at Paris with Ben. It was very romantic but I was ready to be back in LA and see my Hazel. “Hazel!” I exclaimed as Ella handed her to me. I took her into my arms and held her tight. “How did she do? You guys ok?” I asked turning to them. “Oh she was fine.” Ella said smiling, “but I’m sure we’ll wait a while before having one.” I grinned, “Haha, I’m sure.” I hugged Jake and Ella before they left, passing Hazel to Ben. “Thanks so much.”

“It’s no problem.” Ella said, “yeah, we’ll always be here if you need anything.” Jake said, “thanks mate.” Ben said smiling. We watched them leave and I smiled, turning to Ben and kissed his lips quickly. He smiled and turned to Hazel, cooing at her. I turned to get the mail and sifted through it. Hmm, bunch of fan mail for Danny, some for Ben. A few letters from Ashley and one other, anonymous one. I furrowed my eyebrows as I walked inside. “Babe, Hazel needs to be changed.” Ben called to me, “pampers are under the sink.” I called back to him. I walked over to the coffee table full of wedding gifts. I pushed a few of the packages over and set the mail down, opening up my letter. It is from a fan? I bit my lip and prayed it wasn’t from a guy.

Dear, Alexandria Bruce,

Fuck you.

I swallowed, what? I read the words over again, well that’s weird. Where did this come from? I looked on the envelope and only found my address on it, no one else’s. Well that’s weird. I sighed, well I guess I should expect haters, I am married to Ben now. I’m sure some of the fangirls hated that. I scratched my head and ran a hand through my hair. Oh, well I shouldn’t pay too much attention to it. I gathered up the envelope and hate mail and ripped it up, tossing it into the trash. I collected the gifts and mail and toted them upstairs to our room and placed them on the floor. But I couldn’t get that letter out of my mind I felt like it was someone else, not a fan. I shook it off and laid down on the bed. Ben came in a few minutes later. “Hazel is changed and asleep for now.” I sat up as he sat down. “Oh it’s just a little nap, we’ll have to feed her soon.” Ben nodded, “We still have to get the luggage out of the car.” I sighed and moved to sit in his lap. “And I’m leaving for tour in a few days.” I bit my lip hard, fuck I forgot all about that. My Benjamin, leaving me already. I fought back tears as I contemplated the fact. “Aw..” I whispered. He kissed my forehead, “welcome back to reality babe.” I snuggled into his chest. “It’ll be ok, you’ll have people here helping you.” I nodded and he kissed my cheek. I hoped everything will be alright. But I should be able to do it, I’ve been taking care of Hazel for about a month already. I’ll just miss him. I hope everything will be fine. But I’m not the only one, Danny is also leaving behind, Kandice too. Hmm, we haven’t met her yet. Maybe she could help me.
