Jaliyah silently cried as she picked the pieces of glass up from last nights fight. The third fight they had this week. If they keep fighting like this, she knew she would eventually become too weak to keep holding on.

"Baby." Daevion said as he entered the dinning room. Jaliyah quickly wiped away her tears and tried her best not to sound like she had been crying. Fearing that might cause another fight.

"Yes." she fails to hide the sadness in her voice and her eyes as she looks up at him. He was now standing in front of her.

"Stand up." He ordered. Not wanting to upset him and have another repeat of last night, she immediately did what she was told. As he placed his hands on her lower back and pulled her in closer, she flinched.

"I'm sorry." Tears started running down her face. "Don't cry." He said as he wiped her tears away and kissed her forehead.

"You hurt me." she cried out as she pushed him away.

"I'm sorry, Jaliyah. I'll make it up to you, baby. I promise, anything you want. Just tell me." He pulled her in closer.

"Promise me you won't do it anymore." She said as she looked him in his eyes.

"I promise." He said, "Do you forgive me?" He asked.

"Yes." Jaliyah smiled as she hugged him. Just like that, she had forgiven and trusted him all over again.

"I love you." He whispered in her ear.

"I love you, too." She smiles. He cuffs her face in his hands.

"I'm sorry for hurting you. I promise, I'll do better, baby." He says, looking into her eyes. "Just don't leave me, okay?"

"I won't."

"You can't leave me. Ever." He looks into her eyes. "Nobody can have you but me, right?"

"I'm all yours, nobody else's." She says, trying to hide the fear in her voice. She's seen that look in his eyes a million times. The look of pure Hell.

"Good. I wouldn't have it any other way. You know that, right?"

"Yes. I don't want to be without you." He does this every time. Whenever he thinks she'll leave him, he puts fear into her.

He gently kissed her forehead and hugged her tightly before saying, "I'm glad we feel the same way."

"Me too." She said as she rested her head on his chest.
