Reggie's POV
I knocked on her front door. Smithers opened the door and I walked in.
Veronica was on the stairs. She was wearing a beautiful silver dress that went down to her ankles.
"You look absolutely stunning!"
She smiled and walked down to me,
"You look very handsome Reggie Mentle."
I felt myself blush for some reason, I knew I was good looking but Ronnie brought something over me.
"Shall we go?" I bowed and kissed her hand as she nodded.
We finally got our food.
"Thanks."
"For what?" I questioned.
"For being there for me! I know I have confided in you things I would never tell a soul." She grabbed my hand, "you've been by my side since we were children. I want to ask you something..."
"Yea?"
"Will you marry me?"
"Yes!" I answered the second her mouth closed, I ran over to her and grabbed her in my arms.
She smiled as we kissed.
I can't believe I won! When I first started going out with Ronnie it was to annoy Carrottop but after our first date I fell in love with her.
I'll never let that orange haired weirdo get my beautiful Veronica Lodge.
"I love you!"
We kissed again and I brushed my hand through her hair. She melted in my arms, the way she always did. I smiled softly as we say back down and finished eating.
