Archie: Back in Riverdale

leaving(not!)

Archie turned to Betty and frowned, "man, I can't believe it's time for everyone to leave!"
Jughead nodded sadly as they all walked along an old path they found as kids,
"Maybe it won't be so bad?"
"But we all have lives now, we can't just all move back into town."
Reggie sighed and shook his head.
Betty wiped a tear from her eye as she hugged Veronica,
"I missed you and now you're going again!"
"I know Betts..." Veronica chocked on her words and couldn't finish.
"But what if we can?" Jughead smiled as everyone stopped and looked at him.
Reggie frowned,
"Didn't you hear what I said Needlenose? We have lives now! We're not children anymore!"
"What-" Veronica thought outloud, "what if I asked daddykins if me and Reggie could move to Lodge Industries here in town?"
"Granny has always been talking about how I should move to nice little town with Juggie! Maybe it's time!" David nodded and agreed with Veronica.
"You can all stay at our inn until you find a place!" Betty hugged Veronica and smiled.

David put down Veronica's last bag,
"How many things do you own?" He huffed as he tried to catch his breath.
"Ha I had a lot more as a teen. I got rid of most of it!"
"Most of it?!" He frowned as he slowly gained his energy back.
Reggie made it up the stairs with two suitcases, a dog, a newspaper, three new towels and his left shoe in his mouth.
"Here let me help!" David walked over to him.
"Mummmmfffff!!!!" Reggie quickly spit out his shoe and frown,
"Finally!"
"Ok, I gotta go help Juggie with unpacking!" David smiled as he went to help his husband.
"Okay, bye!" Veronica smiled as Reggie picked her up and spun her around.

Jughead put the phone down and yelled, "David! Guess what?!"
"What's wrong?"
"Jellybean is coming to visit!"
"Your sister?" He grinned.
"Yea! She hasn't met you yet! She knows I'm married but no idea who."
Jughead kissed him and hugged him.
"This is great! I can't wait to meet her!"
"She's amazing, you'll love her!"
