I walk in the door and to my surprise I see Gina, Maddie's mom and she seems worried... I brace myself because I already know what she's worried about, I didn't want to think about it but I'm afraid my suspicions are true... She's not home.
"Have you seen her clique?" Gina asks I'm her quiet and broken voice.
What should I say?! If she's still in there who knows what could have happened but also I will get in major trouble... I decide to lie.
"No, has she not come home?"
"N-no I'm quite worried... Another day and I'm calling the police"
Crap... This isn't good at all the police are gonna get involved and I'll be on the receiving end of more than a few slaps and punches...
