A woman's POV

"Run."

With no hesitation, he ran. Shifting to his wolf, he ran faster. Feet pedaling fast, dried leaves crunching under him, going to the north side of the forest.

Just like the way I like it.

A chase.

I love chasing the prey. Smelling their fear. So intense I could taste its pungent flavor. Swirling around my sensitive nose, making it easy to tail him.

I chuckled. Counting few minutes before pursuing the poor little wolf.

I clicked my tongue and started hunting. Wind blowing around my face. Escaped strands of my dark hair twirling. I'm a smooth racer. Gliding, not a sound can be heard when I run. I was trained not to.

My training was not an ordinary one. Way far from the word ordinary.

I was trained to kill, torture, slaughter, and destroy anything that goes against me or my family.

Growing up, I had learned to love and embrace that lifestyle.

Painting my callused hands with blood. I enjoy it. The excitement I get from seeing faces contort in pain. Seeing how I inflict it unto them.

Now, I'm thinking of ways to see that exact same expression on this man's face.

He's in his late 20's. His body is built enough to tackle a bull. He's the type that intimidates people and tell them he has the upper hand.

Now, let's see who has the upper hand.

I can smell his fear and anxiety thick in the air.

Apart from the dewy scent of this forest, I traced his scent not far away from where I am now. A few minutes of running, I can already hear his frantically beating heart equaling my own but different reasons.

Another rush of adrenaline hits me. I stalked him until I saw his dull brown fur under a small cave surrounded by thick bushes. Squishing his huge body inside the cramped cave. He really is an idiot, thinking that he can hide from me.

I can feel my eyes turning a shade darker from the anticipation of what I can do to this pup.

I climbed a tree near the cave. He's shivering. Definitely not from the weather. It's the middle of summer. Sun rays glowing down on us. A beautiful weather it is. A nice day to play.

I slipped my right hand on my ankle boots. Took the small handgun loaded with silver bullets containing wolfsbane. The two weaknesses of werewolves.

I aimed at his hind leg. I don't want to end it sooner. I like it later.

Whimpering at my first shot, the wolf stood. Forced to shift back to human form caused by the wolfsbane that's slowly creeping in his system. Limping his way out of the tiny cave, naked.

I jumped off the tree. Grinning like a maniac that I am.

"Tsk tsk. I gave you a chance. You could have been free." I looked at him in fake pity. I don't have those kind of emotions. Instead I feel giddy. Like a child given sweets and desserts.

"I-I... You..." I chuckled. It seems like he forgot his language all of a sudden. This made me laugh. At least, before he vanish, he actually made me laugh.

"What? Cat got your tongue?" I shot another on the other leg. Making him kneel on the dirt.

"J-just... Please kill me." Dang! I love that. Begging.

"Aww. The big bad wolf is now pathetically begging me to kill him. Why, I would love to do the honor. But... first, I want to play." I took out my silver dagger. An heirloom. Our family's brand in its grip. Not having fun with the gun anymore.

"I'll ask three questions, if you answer all correctly, I'll go away. This, I swear. But, every wrong answer, one consequence." I do keep up with my promises. My dad always tell me to not blurt out empty words as it makes me the lowest of the lows if I do.

I saw hope flashing across his green eyes.

"Okay, question number 1.

It is the brightest in a world full of darkness.

Highest of the highest.

Pulling you away from the evilness.

Wolves look up with eagerness.

They even say, it might be the key to your happiness."

I chuckled once again. I heard this guy is not the brightest. He has failed exams after exams. Reason why he dropped out from school before he even graduate high school.

"I-I d-don't know." Trembling, he bowed his head in defeat.

"Damn. That's the easiest." In no time, I'm beside him cutting his left arm away. He started thrashing. Screaming. Blood splattering. In my face, body and around him. Mmm. Blood.

Laughing maniacally, I went behind him.

"Now, for the second question,

Other half, they say.

The only way out of the misery, it may.

In time, it'll take you away.

Waste it, you'll pay."

His head perked up. I can see an idea is starting to turn up in his head. "A Mate." he whispered. He has one, I heard.

"Correct." I snarled. I am pissed. He should have gotten that wrong. No blood for me then. At least, not before the third question.

He looked at me in the eyes. I growled. He's in no rank to look at an alpha straight in the eye. He shifted his eyes on the ground.

"Will you let me free?" Hope, anxiety, sadness, and eagerness whirling in and out of his green eyes.

I just chuckled. He wasn't listening. I said, if he get everything right, I'll let him free. But, he got one wrong already.

"Last question." Hope was instantly gone.

"The top can never waver.

It's the head that no one can better.

Dominating the top of the ladder."

He's losing his strength to even kneel properly. Right hand holding his left shoulder, still bleeding. He's just a body slowly deteriorating in front of my eyes. He knew it, he lost. He knew that this will, is the end for him.

Surrendering. In a low voice, barely a whisper he said, "You're evil."

"Damn, right I'm evil." I whispered in his ears and stabbed his neck with my silver dagger. Dragging it around the neck to completely decapitate him.

Once again, my mood is elated. More blood.
