Chapter 8

Emily's p.o.v:

Today I'm suppose to be meeting up with Brandon. Ever since we exchanged numbers, we would just none stop text each other. It's nice to hang out with people my actual age.

No offense to Dan and Phil.

Brandon said that he had a suprise for me. I'm excided for today.
As I'm sitting on my bed, my phone starts to ring.
"hello?"

"hey, I'm here."

"Kay, see you in a second." I hang up and grab my bag and exit my room.

"I'm hanging out with Brandon."
I tell the guys.
"Alright, have fun. And be back before dark." Phil says, hugging me goodbye.
"okay."

"No way!" he yells.

"Way."

"So you have a youtube channel, with now 10,000 subs?"

"Yeah. I honestly didn't expect to make it this far," I smile, "I love my fans. They actually support me."
"oh," his smile goes away, but then reapears again, "Hey you ready for the suprise?"
"Sure."

"Follow me."

He stands up, me following his lead. I had to take the moment to look at this world. All the things that happend. Heh, we really went to shit huh?
We finally stop at some weird place. It looked really old and abandoned. I don't know why, but I really like scary stuff or old creppy looking things.
"Wait is this place abandoned?" I ask.

"Yep. I found it the other day, and really wanted to show you." He smiles slightly.
"Is it a school? An asylim? Or a warehouse?" I guess, making him laugh.
"It's a school, nobody's really been there for what? 5 years?"

   "Well looking at the walls and the grass, it might be.. 6 or 7 years."
he looks at me confused and I just laugh.
"Just look at the little things. It's important. Shall we?" I say walking in the old building.
As we enter the school, I start to notice the mossy walls, and creaky floor boards.
"Be careful." He says holding me back.
"Of course."

I touch the walls, and look at the signs.

We*t: Sc*enc* an* H*sto*y.

East: Of*ice, St*f*, ect..

N*rt*: Ma*h and Engl*sh.

Sou*h: Gy*, Hea*h ro*m.

Even though some of the letters were scrached off, I could still understand the words.
"Let's check out the science rooms." He says, "I love that subject."
"Alright." I say, "Let's go West then."

We finally get to the classrooms, and head into one. I see spiderwebs, mice, and some bugs.
"I guess it really is a science class." Brandon jokes.
I laugh and let out a snort by accident, making us both laugh harder.
"It wasn't even that funny." I say into little breaths.
"yeah."

We walk around the school a little more and find some stairs.

To the roof

"Wanna go up?" I challenge.

"Only if you go."

I head up the stairs, and hear some rusling. I decide to prank Brandon.
"Hey Dude, did you hear that? I don't think we'r-" I turn around to see no sign of Brandon.
"Brandon?"

Besides the echoing, I hear nothing.
"Brandon!?" I yell, but still no sign. I start to tear up and start to run. "Brandon, if you're trying prank me than stop!"
I suddenly hear a weird noise in the north hall. I want to yell hello but... You know what happens in the movie's. I'm not gonna be that girl in the movie's who literally dies first.
Maybe he got lost. I walk around some more. Out of nowhere, Brandon pops out and scares me.
"Boo!"
I jump, then push him.
"For god's sake, where the hell were you?" I yell.
"hah. I got ya..." He stops when he notices my old tears. "Where you crying?"
"I didn't know where you were. I was scared. And if you went home, I would have actually been lost in London."
"Damn. Sorry I didn't think about that." He rubs that back of his neck.
"I don't know what I would do if I lost you. You're my best friend." I say hugging him.
I could feel his smile get bigger, "Actually, I'm your only friend."
"Shut up." I rub my eyes, "I'm tired, I'm gonna head home."
"Let me walk you. You don't even know your way back." I nod and smile.

Once I get home, I get a phone call.
"Hello?"
"Um, hey Emily. It's Jordan."
