Madison's POV:

'Twas another ordinary day, the sun slowly rising into the light blue sky. "Meh." I threw the covers off me. "Hurry up you will be late for school." My mum called from the bottom of the stairs. I got up putting on my skinny jeans and dip-dyed tee then brushed my hair. I always had my hair up for school and didn't wear too much makeup.

I went down stairs and got a slice of toast then brushed my teeth. I was still half asleep when I left the house. I arrived at school a few minuets before the bell, my friends had already gone to reg but my good old bestfriend, Ellie waited for me. The day consisted of the usual laughing, talking, fangirling and eating.

"Did your mum say it was okay for me to come over?" Ellie asked excitedly as we walked to last lesson. "Yes and since it's a Friday she said you can stay over." I smiled widely. "Awesome! we can pick up my things on the way to yours." She spoke then we split to opposite sides of the class. English was the worst lesson ever since Mrs.Ellington split us up. I was given a small slip of paper by Johnny. "It's from Ellie." He whispered. I unfolded the slip. Dayyyuumm gurrlll, Jason won't stop glancing back at me.

I lightly giggled at the note then wrote a reply. You lucky thang I'm stuck with the ginger ninja. I handed it to Johnny to give to Lilly, to give to Dan, to give to Ellie. Moments later the note was handed back. Johnny isn't that bad. I glanced a Johnny to make sure he wasn't reading the note. I never said he was bad ;). I sent back.

Johnny let out a long sigh. "This is so boring." I flung my head back and saw two boys reading comics. Why are they reading comics? They look so hardcore, even if I am looking at them upside down. "More drink?" Mrs. Ellington read aloud. "More drink?" Johnny mimicked her voice. "I forgot how to English." I brought my head back forward laughing.

"Maddison! What was the last thing I just said?" Mrs. Ellington belted across the class. "The last thing you just said was the last thing you just said." I stated with a bit of sass in my voice. The whole class roared with laughter and Johnny fist bumped me. "QUIET!" an eery silence fell and the echo of Mrs. Ellington's heels clicking on the tiles got louder as she ventured towards mine and Johnny's desk. "Maddison. Detention. After. School!" she glared down at me. "It was worth it." I mumbled and Johnny laughed. "you too Jonathan!" She snapped.

I felt 4 balls of paper hit the back of my neck. I turned round and shot them a what-the-hell-do-you-think-you-are-doing look. They both had brown hair, one with Blue eyes and the other with green. I turned back round until they started getting on my nerves. I rose my hand. "What is it Maddison?" Mrs. Ellington sighed, massaging her temples. "The guys behind me are getting on my nerves and I really want to learn." I sniggered. "Louis! Harry! Detention!" She called then went back to reading.

I turned round and stuck my tongue out at them. After a painful hour of Mrs. Ellington droaning on about a frog the lesson was finally over. "See you in detention." The blue eyed one spoke as he passed me. "Where's the detention room?" I asked Johnny whilst picking up my bag, we looked at each other seriously then burst out laughing. "Ah that never gets old." I wiped a tear from my eye.

Ellie walked behind us. We walked along the deserted corridors that smelt like, sweaty teenagers. "Whats your mum gonna say when we come in late eh?" Ellie sighed. "Something like, I bought you that new game you wanted." I shot her a innocent smile and a shrug. "Back again Maddie and Johnny?" Dr.Shaw smiled at us. "We couldn't stay away sir." I gave him a cheesy grin. "Waiting for Maddie?" Dr. shaw asked Ellie who didn't hesitate to nod frantically.

"She won't be long today." He smiled then closed the door. Dr. Shaw and I had a specially bond, he was like my uncle. "What did you do now Maddie?" He sighed with a chuckle. "I used my sass against the teacher." I smiled. "I didn't do anything sir,I just ended up getting detention." Johnny pointed out and Dr.Shaw laughed.
