Introduction and Explanation

Hello random people of the internet, I welcome you to this tale of fantasy, friendship, and overall goodness. Before I begin, let's give a round of applause for my co-ranter/creator for this story; scraggles16. Now that you've all clapped, I can move on.

Like all my other stories, I have this here so I can briefly explain what this will be about, which means you can skip this part, and so I can have minimal author notes of notenesses. Even though my notes of noteness are amazing, I think we'd all appreciate them being only at the ends of some chapters and not having an entire part dedicated to a note of noteness. (Are you proud of this being pretty coherent and mostly on topic? I know I'm proud.)

Moving on to the plot and what not. (Heh I made a rhyme). Anyways, this tale will be written in a split point of view sort of thing. Meaning mostly it will be in first person perspective, in which the perspectives will flip between our two main characters; Ruby and Amber. Except in the beginning when the two are pretty much together the entire time. But 3rd person point of view will happen incredibly rarely after the first two parts.

These two girls will share their perspectives of an unfamiliar school that is honing in on their specific skills. One focused on stealth and combat, and the other focused on magic and intelligence. This school will place them in their respective classes and constantly put them in situations to push their abilities. And sometimes they'll get themselves stuck in their own situations and push themselves that way.

The school teaches only a select few students; who all have been personally invited to the school by the Headmasters. Once the student accepts they can be given a room at the school, and start training, at the beginning of their semester. And although the students are there for only a year, they become equivalent to that of professionals in the field.

This book will focus on the first year for the students and the troubles they manage to get themselves, as well as their new friends, into. I would introduce their friends but that would ruin the fun, you'll just have to read ahead to meet them.

Now, I think that I've shared enough about this book without spoiling anything. I congratulate you for making it this far into this intro, so give yourself a pat on the back, or shoulder, or I don't really care, just know you did well, and if I could I would give you a cookie.
