*3rd Person PoV*
A husband and wife begin their umpteenth argument, sparked by, who really knows at this point. Wait, omnipotent author knows, but she'll just tell you they're arguing about ideals and who's is better.
"That would be unfit for them, and you know it!"
"The only thing that would be 'unfit' would be your choice!"
"Clearly this is getting nowhere!"
"You're only saying that because you know I'm right!"
An audible sigh escapes the one's mouth, "How about we settle this the old fashioned way?"
"For once, I agree with you. At the very least it'll be entertaining for us."
"Correct. And I'm sure they'll agree with us, so it'll be easy."
*~*~*~*
Two friends gather as they always do, the only thing different is that the one is being followed by seven pigeons.
"Ruby, why do you have a flock of carrier-pigeons following you?" the plum-colored haired girl asked when her friend came within range.
"I am their god!" the blue haired girl retorted.
"No. No you aren't."
Bickering ensued as the birds kept inching closer to Ruby. Relatively small in stature, the pigeons strangely made her seem intimidating. But then looking up at the bright blue, spiked hair, all intimidation factors were lost. Then again, no one suspects the non-intimidating people to be threatening.
"I'm not letting you in until you get rid of the birds." The plum-colored haired girl said as she closed to door in Ruby's face.
"Jaaaaaade!" Jade was the owner of the plum hair. Minus the purple hair, she looked like an average nerd. Minimal muscle mass, glasses that keep falling down, and a periodic table slapped on her shirt.
Annoyed, Jade opened to door to see Ruby with a fresh pile of bird poop running down her head. Feeling partially bad and mostly entertained, Jade walked out to watch her friend deal with the now eight pigeons.
Finally getting the majority of the poop off, Ruby noticed a small letter attached to her bird army's feet. Suspicious, she bends over to take the note from the closest one, but quickly retracts her hand when the creature takes a step forward.
"It's not going to bite you, so just grab the note." Jade intervened.
Glaring back for a moment, Ruby quickly shot her hand out and snatched up the letter. Opening it, she read it over:
Congratulations! You are hereby invited to attend Oslaxora Academy Here you can train under a specific class, and unlock your possible potential. Will you accept this invitation? Please reply with a 'yes' or 'no'.
Sitting the letter on the ground beside her, Ruby grabbed the letter from the next bird, and the next, and the next. As she read over letters two through eight, the pigeons flew away.
The letters read as followed:
Did you get the first letter I sent? Could you reply soon? I need to know.
Are you ignoring me?
Hello?
Listen, I can see you aren't reading these. Can I at least have my birds back?
How many of my birds are you going to take from me? I have other people to send letters to!
Whatever, keep the birds, just give me back the first one.
You deserved that bird pooping on you. You need to reply by tonight! It's just a simple yes or no. It's not that difficult!!
Ruby laughed as she read over the letters that were growing to be less and less formal. Once she got to the last letter though she frowned. Knocking her out of her annoyed state, a sudden pain shot through her shoe. Looking down, she saw the first pigeon staring at her.
"Uhh... Yes?" Ruby said, not really sure what the bird wanted from her. All she knew was getting pecked by it stung.
The pigeon nodded, grabbed the invitation, and flew off.
"Clean your hair off before you come in." Jade remarked as she started to walk back in.
Ruby quickly stopped her in her tracks and wiped her head on Jade's shirt.
"Really?! I hope that you get attacked by those pigeons!"
The girls laughed it off and walked inside, thinking this whole strange bird thing was behind them. Ruby, partially wanting her small army back, sat there wondering in the back of her head if her friend was invited to this school as well. She would be left to wonder because since Jade didn't know that the letter was the same kind of letter she received a week ago from her own pigeon, she didn't think of bringing it up.
Ruby and Jade decided to do what they usually do whenever they are together, just sit, talk, and relax. Eventually night did fall, and Ruby decided to sleep on the couch and leave in the morning; they were technically adults so it's not like it would matter. Unfortunately, neither one of the girls would wake up where they fell asleep originally, and they'd be greeted with new surroundings and a new life ahead of them.

(For those new to my stories, the line above separates the story from my notes of notenesses. As you can see it's different from the line I used in the beginning).
I'm so pleased to announce that this book can finally be uploaded onto here! I felt bad for not uploading any stories for quite a while, especially now that I've gained quite a few followers. But now it's up! And it's going to be uploaded at least once a week.
Saturday's will be the day in which you can read more this story. And maybe some Saturday's, I'll double update because I can be nice like that.
I'll end this here, since I don't have much to discuss. Here's to a new book! Thanks for reading, and remember comments, concerns, confessions, and complaints are always welcome. Ahhh gooooodbyeeeeee [?]
