Ella ran and ran through hallways and corridors she had never seen before. As she grew tired, she slowed down to a walk. Upon reaching, yet again, another corridor, she noticed a large golden door, which was exceptionally beautiful, but it clashed rather badly with the monochromatic castle that consisted of silvers and blues.

She approached the door, and upon reaching it, realised that it was open after giving it a swift push.

Inside...was a large observatory with thousands and thousands of telescopes and a large, clear glass dome that looked at the sky...but the sky wasn't there.

Wow, thought Ella, I cannot imagine how beautiful this sky must have been to have an entire observatory here to look at it. After walking around, Ella focused on a telescope decorated with gold, just like on the door, only it had a background of rich, royal blue.

On the side, there was something engraved, that read:

For Eleanor

Underneath was a little paper attached that said:

Continue the quest for the slippers. I know you won't let me down, darling.

Love,
Alissa

Ella read the message a few times before she felt hot tears run down her face.

"Alright, Ella," she said to herself after she had calmed down, "You can't afford to let your mother down."

She then decided to take a look through the telescope. After fiddling around with it, she finally settled her eye on a little forest in the very corner of Winston Dale. It was the only part of the Dale that was green. How perculiar, she thought.

As she studied the forest, she noticed a little sparkle that was reflecting off some sort if light in the middle of the forest.

She ran out of the observatory, through the millions of halls and corridors, and out the grand door she had entered from when they arrived. Ella ran and ran towards the green forest and towards the sparkle inside.

She grew tired, but then looked up to find herself in the very middle of the forest. The sparkle was still there, but it looked as though it were covered slightly in dirt. How was that even possible?

Ella got down on her hands and knees, and began to dig. After covering her night gown in mud and dirt while digging, the object was finally visible. Before she could lift it out, she heard a rustle behind her.

"Eleanor? What are you doing?!" shouted Annabelle, worriedly.

Ella, ignoring her (newly discovered) grandmother, lifted the object out of its hole.

She let out a gasp in complete and utter shock.

"What is it? Are you hurt? Whatever are you-" began Annabelle, but she was cut off by the site infront of her.

"The Glass Slippers...Eleanor, you found them!"

Ella laughed as she held the beautiful slippers up towards the icy dome that acted as the sky. There was a magnificent shine, and when she looked up again, there, infront of her very own eyes...was the most beautiful night sky she had ever seen.

The half moon shimmered and gleamed, comets flew by, decorating the sky, and the stars...oh, the stars looked like diamonds stuck to a huge piece of navy blue silk.

"You did it, Eleanor! The skies of the Arinton Dales have been saved!" shouted Annabelle as she and Ella looked up at the spectacular sky.
